These purple and pink hiking boots are a total hit with my 6-year-old! Not only are they super cute, but they're also packed with features that I look for in hiking boots.1. Great Ankle Support: They cover her little ankles perfectly, which helps her stay steady when she's climbing over rocks or running around the trails.2. Waterproof and Play-Ready**: She can jump in puddles or trek through wet grass without me worrying about her feet getting soaked. Bonus points for how cool the colors look even after getting muddy!3. Easy to Put On: The drawstrings are such a lifesaver--she can pull them on by herself, and they always fit snug without being too tight.4. These are sturdy hiking shoes for kids. They aren't extremely rugged - but they are kids shoes so I don't expect them to be. I like that the shoes have velcro and elastic closure. There are no laces to come undone or have to thread through hooks - these are super easy to get on for kids.The color is really fun. The soles have good traction.It's super dry where I live so I'm not sure how they are for wet conditions, but they are holding up well to dry, conditions.Nice boots.

These were awesome for our daughter on a hike. They seemed waterproof as advertised. They were very anti-slip, which was great! They were a little on the bigger size than other things, but they were great!

I'm a petite woman whose feet run very small but wide, and my daughter has just about caught up to me. I typically wear a girls 3-4, depending on the cut, or a women's 5W (which is a chimera size that can almost never be found). My daughter, who has an abnormally narrow foot, is around a 2.5 and generally wears 3 because she doesn't like things tight.Because of the nature of boots, and knowing we would want space for heavy socks, and that feet grow but never shrink, we decided to order these in a 4, figuring they should fit one of us. They don't. Even with boot socks, the 4s are swimming on me. Part of that is probably that the boots are very stiff and can't be tightened as much as softer material ones would be able to. The kids 4 fits me the way a women's 6.5 would (long experience). Hopefully my daughter isn't finished growing and will be able to use these eventually, as they really are cute, but for the moment, they're destined for the attic.
