Pond fish liked being under fountain, worked right away, love the solar. Glad there were other attachments just in case

This works better than I anticipated. It will only work in direct sunlight. The only problem with some of these is that the water shoots off the bird bath. May need refilling regularly. But the birds love it and it's cool the way it works.

Doesn’t send up water that high. Birds don’t seem to want to go near it, if I cover it up with rocks then it doesn’t work.

Very nice fountain. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Comes with several spray heads to make different patterns of water. All you do is drop it into your pond/birdbath and away it goes! With strong sunlight the fountain is about 2’ tall. This model has a 3 watt motor. Many similar fountain have 1 watt motors. I wonder if a less powerful pump might also require less sunshine.Unfortunately for me, my pond is shaded most of the day. On a sunny day it still manages to gurgle up about 3 -4”. But on a cloudy day nothing happens. So I’ve donated it to a local,school with an outdoor fish pond. They love it.I’m ordering a different model, one with a battery. Hopefully it will receive enough direct sunshine in the morning hour to charge the battery and continue running when the fountain is shaded.Bottom line, it’s a nice little fountain. Easy to use and appears durable.

This item is solar. It works when the sun is directly on it. I love this item, and for the money it's really nice.
