The banner is flimsy. The bar is an ordinary dowel, and the hanging thread is literally just a piece of thread stuffed into the package. You have to tie it yourself to the dowel, and there aren't even any notches carved in the dowel for the thread to sit in, so the thread moves. One could replicate this for about $3 at Hobby Lobby.
