WOULD GIVE a ZERO RATING , BUT WILL NOT LET ME. TRIED THIS ITEM, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. GARBAGE !!! STAY AWAY. ALL PADS SELF DESTRUCTED WITHIN 10 MINUTES. NEVER BUY AGAIN, DO NOT RECOMMEND . WASTE OF MONEY, ONLY VALUABLE PIECE IS the STEEL MANDREL. AND NOW I'M PASSED the RETURN DEADLINE, BECAUSE I DIDN'T USE RIGHT AWAY.

I've got an old brass ship's clock that has been in the family for 50 to 100 years. It has been in a garage for the last 20 or so years. I got this set to try to clean it up. I'm new to using polishing stuff. This set worked great with my 12v Milwaukee drill. It comes with some very basic directions that make the system quite easy to use. The pads don't stay on the mandrill real well, so if you will be needing this for professional use, you might choose something else. For a homeowner doing occasional or rare work, this is a great started set.
