I've been searching for a whip that makes a nice sound. The other whips and paddles I've tried required to hard of an impact to make a nice sound. This thing, even lightly, makes a great sound. The sound is a turn on for her and she says the impact even with some inertia behind it still fills great.

This item will work as a toy but won't stand up to much real use given the lack of quality in both the materials and craftsmanship (or lack thereof). Another example of getting what I pay for. Lesson learned.

This thwacker is well made and I hope durable. It feels great across my butt and thighs. I only gave it a 4 star because the edges of the handle are a bit sharp.

So it seems apparent that this isn't real leather, but a faux replacement, but it still works well. It takes just a few swings to figure out a good wrist-flicking motion and it has a great loud crack to it. Some people say it doesn't inflict too much pain but if you flick your wrist enough it does the job and does it well. A great addition.

This review is for “AOXVIA PU Leather Paddle Riding Crop for Horses, Equestrianism Crops (Black).” The crop arrived packaged in a Ziploc-style bag with two thin plastic foam sheets for cushioning. It seems solidly made, with a hefty wooden handle and fairly thick “pleather”. I would prefer the handle be more rounded, as the chunky rectangular shape is not as easy to hold though it does help add weight and a feeling of overall quality.Getting a consistently good snap sound will take some practice; once the pleather loses the bend from being shipped folded flat I think that will help.5 stars

I purchased this riding crop, even though I don’t have a horse for personal uses. I will say it works well for a cheaper crop. When mine came in the handle was chipped so that’s a bit of a bummer but otherwise it’s in good shape. They do fold over the leather so I had to you weigh it down a bit to get rid of the crease.

A smaller riding crop that appears to be well made. It's lightweight and easy to hold. Its an attractive crop with a medium colored wood and leather top.

This thing is great! FIVE STARS!! I didn’t expect it to be a substantial as it is, OR that I would love it so much. It has a nice solid wooden handle with a matte finish, the strap is held to it by two bright brass colored rivets. The strap itself is thick PU leather and reminiscent of a heavy leather belt or an old leather strop. It makes a nice loud, satisfying SMACK when you hit something with it. The overall feel is that of something old. It’s a welcome addition to our toy box! I just adore it!
