Weighed my original 1800mah battery, 40 grams, and the 2400mah battery, 16.8 grams. The bigger capacity battery shouldn't weigh less than half of the original smaller capacity battery. Charger works but looking for another battery. Anything 2400mah may be a red flag, false capacity. Only lasts for an hour or so. I'd stick to getting a 1800mah battery.

Based on another review I was excited to see how much the battery weight compared to the original. It is a slight difference but I wouldn’t say half the weight like the other review. How ever I went to put the battery into my psp and could not get the battery cavity cover back on. And it wouldn’t turn on. Idk if this was due to the battery being dead on arrival or what. But I couldn’t get it in to charge it. PSP wouldn’t even turn on. So I swapped back the original PSP battery. Plugged in the charge that came with this bundle and it did fully charge my psp. This was 3 days ago. An np exaggeration here. ( I haven’t got to play much) but my battery is still kicking and healthy. Funny thing is the day before I got this package in the mail I was returning home from a trip and was given the actual charger by the person who gifted me the psp. Haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure original power is just as good as it ever once was.

Immediately after holding the battery I felt 'this is too light to be 2.4Ah battery...' and it's half the weight of the Sony OEM 1.2Ah battery. I thought, ok, maybe it's better to have a working battery than none at all, at least it comes with a charger. The barrel jack on the charger requires SO MUCH FORCE to put into the PSP, I felt like I was going to break it, but it eventually went in. The battery came with ~75% charge so at least its ready to go right away. The battery charges at ~1%/min with the charger while the PSP is on, so it should charge from dead to full in ~1.5hrs.Although the PSP estimated ~7hrs initially, it barely lasted 1.5hrs from 100% to completely dead. I am going to try a few more cycles to see if the battery needs to be reconditioned, but so far this does not behave like a 2.4Ah battery...

This product is identical to what is advertised. It includes a 3.6 volt 2400 mAh battery (which I am using as a second backup for my original battery) along with a 5 volt AC charger with the appropriate male adapter for your female outlet on your PSP. My charging unit was broken, so this solved that problem for me as well.The combination of these two items together in one package is a fantastic deal, designed for a now mostly forgotten but infamous gaming device, which I have personally hacked to allow me to download and play all sorts of PSP games on memory card, rather than using the original discs which were known to be easily damaged.I'm grateful for this affordable package.
