The suit is very large, but that is probably a good thing because in an emergency you know that you will be completely covered. I like the reflective stripes and I'm glad to have this ready at a moments notice.

I got this fire emergency blanket for peace of mind, knowing I have something that could help protect me in the event of a house fire. In an emergency, every second counts, and this could make a life-saving difference when escaping a burning home.✔️ Thick and Well-Made – The material is high-quality, durable, and truly fireproof. I tested it by holding a lighter to the fabric, and it did not melt, smoke, smolder, or catch fire in any way. That level of protection gives me confidence that it will help keep me safe if the worst happens.✔️ Reinforced Stitching – The stitching is strong and sturdy, ensuring the blanket stays intact when you need it most. This added durability makes it even more reliable in high-stress emergency situations.✔️ Reflective Strips for Visibility – In a rescue scenario, these reflective strips ensure I’m easily seen, whether by emergency responders or loved ones trying to assist. Visibility is crucial in smoke-filled environments, and this feature is a great addition.✔️ Essential for Every Household – I plan on getting one for each family member because you never know when tragedy might strike. Having this in easy reach could make all the difference. This is a must-have safety item that no home should be without. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, reliable way to increase fire safety! Hopefully I never need to use it.

This is a well-constructed carbon fiber fire-proof hooded coat that will definitely cover/protect adults. The two pictures show a person who is 5'7" tall and another person who is 6'3" tall wearing the fire proof coat. Not only does the coat cover your head and neck, but the sleeves can be worn down to protect your hands, if needed. The coat was easy to put on quickly, and it did not feel constrictive for either person. The reflective strips on the back are an added protective value to have in smoke-filled dark rooms. I am glad that I have this coat; I want to order more.

I saw this fire jacket and I thought of my father, when I was very young, who showed me a huge wool coat he had hung inside our house at the stairs leading down a flight to our back door. He had me practice, taking it down and racing out in case of fire. It seems like a really good thing to have around, especially when wildfires seem to be cropping up everywhere. The photo shows my husband in it. He is about 5'7", 180 pounds. You can see where it hits his legs; he can pull the sleeves down over his hand, the hood over his head. It's very lightweight (feels like a thick felt), which makes it easy for anyone to grab or carry around. It's easy to put on and plenty roomy. We were also thinking you could use it as an emergency blanket in your car. I really like the reflective strips, which are very bright. One has to trust that the materials are truly as heat resistant as they say, and it might not be a bad idea to hang a smoke respirator nearby, because the smoke is what really gets people. My only caveat is, I wish it came with a proof of fire resilience related to the 1000° C/1800° F claim; usually there's some lab certification for these things. Hence, my rating: other than setting it on fire and ruining it, there's no way to know. Seems well worth the price.

The fire escape hoodie is nicely made and feels like course, heavy wool to the touch. I don't have any way to test and see if it is actually carbon fiber, so will have to rely on the manufacturer's statements for that. A quick PSA note -- just remember that the majority of deaths in fires are from smoke inhalation -- not heat or fire. This hoodie should be used as a protective cover (if you can lay your hands on it immediately) and then get as low as you can to the floor and get out quick! Trying to stand up and run through flames is a really bad idea.So -- it's a nice addition to your personal safety gear. Just remember that it only protects from heat and flame -- NOT smoke inhalation.

It's one of those things that you hope you never have to put to the test. At 5'11" it covers me to below the knees, it has a roomy hood, and long sleeves so you can pull your hands inside for even more protection. I don't know much about sewing, but even I can see that the stitching is very solid. The material *is* fireproof at least to a lighter held on it for 15 seconds. The high-visibility stripes will be useful in smokey, or darkened conditions and the robe-like design ensures that it can be put on quickly in the emergency when seconds count.

The 1000°C flame and heat resistance is impressive. I feel much safer knowing that this suit can withstand such high temperatures. The hood offers excellent protection, and the reflective strips are a nice touch for visibility in low-light conditions. The reinforced stitching is another standout feature. It adds an extra layer of durability, essential for any fire escape gear. The suit feels incredibly sturdy yet comfortable enough to move around in. I’ve tested it out, and it fits perfectly—especially the extra large size, which is excellent for adults. The suit is also easy to wear and take off, which is crucial in emergencies. The design is user-friendly, and the materials feel high-quality. This suit could make a difference in a fire emergency, providing the protection needed to get out safely.
