Very well crafted and constructed strap! Many thoughtful details were considered in designing this strap. I probably wouldn't use the chest strap for added security, though, unless carrying my case a lengthy distance.Although this is a wonderfully designed strap, I wouldn't recommend it for use with the Protec TriPac Alto/fl/clar combination case unless you are a larger person. As a 5'1" 58-yr-old woman, I found the case just too large and heavy to carry on my back and nearly injured myself attempting to do so. The trolley cart turned out to be a much wiser option for me with this particular case.

I use this strap for my protec bari sax case. I'd say you can adjust the straps to feel more comfortable. Strap hasn't broken, holds the weight for the bari sax in case, and makes it easy to carry your bari around. Highly would recommend for someone who chooses to buy the protec bari sax case ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

I must first state that this was Not purchased for that which it was designed. We bought this for my dad as he alternates between a walker and a wheelchair, especially for on the road. So the goal with this was to strap his walker to my back as I push him in the wheel chair.Considering it wasn't designed for hauling a walker, it was Almost Perfect. The top clasp fits perfectly over the primary middle support bar on the walker. I extend the straps to wrap around the closed legs and clip them to hold the legs closed. The only thing that was a challenge was that after all this, the arm straps were short, and therefore tight. It was still usable, but I didn't have the preferred arm flexibility for pushing a wheelchair etc. And of course, the chest strap was useless to me at this point, but it didn't get in the way much.Since I was using it for an unusual purpose, I didn't dock any stars for the arm straps. But I do have to wonder if this could pose a problem to customers of larger stature, or with larger instruments, using the product as intended. I did find some reviews that concurred that the arms are made for more child size . So if the arms were designed for adults, it sounds like it'd solve my problem as well as that of the adult musical customers. Some of the negative reviews mentioned the top clip came undone on its own. I have not had this problem, but I'm not carrying a heavy instrument with it either.

Got these for my millennium groundblind chair. These straps made it so much easier to carry my hunting chair back and forth through the woods. Great product

Can't say enough good things about this simple, sturdy backpack strap. I rolled the dice and bought it on the eve of a trip to Europe in August for which I wanted to avoid an awkward rollaboard suitcase. Out of the package I clipped the top strap to one end grab handle of my Tumi Alpha Bravo McGuire (21" length) duffel, and clipped both strap snap buckles to the other end grab handle. Unlike other reviews, the top attachment buckle stayed put and did not pop open at all. I was good to go to navigate airports, planes, trains, buses, and lots of walking, hands free and heedless of curbs, steps, and train gaps. I carried the bag onto every flight with no checking of a suitcase and surrendering breakables to the whims of baggage handling. The strap is sturdy and comfortable for long use, even for myself (6' 2", 230). Adjustable sternum strap is a key feature for comfort and stability. When done or for stowage, I simply unclipped the whole thing and zipped it into the bag itself. An absolutely great value.

This worked well for carrying around my alto for a long weekend out of town that involved riding public transit, and walking many blocks in a crowded city to get to and from rehearsals and gigs while keeping my hands free. The side pouch was big enough to hold a flip folder, a bottle of water, an extra t-shirt, and some snack bars. It could probably hold a small music stand too. Was much easier than using the usual shoulder strap. Note though anything in the pouch against your back you do feel it, so I kept that side as flat as possible.

This has made such a difference to my very large bag. It is comfortable with or withoutbthe chest strap fastened. Even my ordinary backpack isn't this comfortable to wear. Weighted items are made to feel less heavy with this strap somehow. I am surprised at how much lighter my bag feels than expected. I had bought the bass trombone mute bag to carry more than just mutes. I carry everything I need, from trombone stand to my clarinet case. Playing two very different instruments requires a lot of stuff! The bag has the ability to use this strap which means I only have to carry my trombone case rather than have both hands carrying stuff.I did think it was a bit expensive before purchasing and it almost put me off but I'm glad I dug deep and paid out for it. It is worth the money.

I purchased the case in order to take my horn around on a bicycle, as I live close to where I gig. So the backpack straps were kind of the selling point. As far as the ergonomics and wearability of the straps IMO these straps work great with the Protech case. Before buying these, I was nervous from reading some of the more negative reviews about them. But, I feel maybe not everyone is attacking them to the case correctly and I could see how that would cause problems. There is two or three ways to attach the straps but only one way that will work comfortably and securely. There aren't good instructions, but if you copy the picture on the packaging it will work. I found it comfortable for the distances I was traveling with the pack. They are not made to take your horn on a multiple day hiking trip, but are perfect for walking or biking through town or between classes at school. The key, really is to attach them correctly. For a little extra piece of mind, I did wrap some duct tape around the plastic connection pieces. This will make it to where you can't easily remove the straps but will make it almost impossible for an accidental mishap.

This is for the Protec musical instrument cases, Very ergonomic and comfortable. Has a sternum strap (in case you are planning on rappelling down any mountains or skydiving with your violin. I personally don't use it riding my bike around town, but good to know it's there if I need it). The only downside is the system of attaching to the case is not real handy if you want to take the straps on and off a lot. I suppose you might get accustomed to the routine, and there is a pocket on the back that they are designed to fold up and go into. I personally just leave them on all the time. My shoulders are a lot happier since I got these straps and the Protec case. Oh yes, one other thing. Unlike some other cases, this system keeps the case from hitting my bike helmet.
