I bought this guitar case for my jumbo Taylor 12 String Guitar. The description says that this a case designed for jumbo guitars, like my Taylor. It did not fit my guitar so I sent it back.

Just received this case, so my impressions are not long-term. For a soft shell case, it is sturdy with a tough nylon outer shell and a softer interior. Tons of pockets for anything you need. I have an Epiphone Dove Pro dreadnought and the fit is firm, not too tight or loose. Zippers on these type of cases can be problematic, so we'll see what happens long-term. I wanted a case that wasn't too heavy and that I could carry to limited places. If I were going to play in bars or other rowdy venues, I would get a hard shell case.

Very well padded, looks fantastic. Three pockets are useful and zippers work well. Full sized acoustics fit perfectly in it. Wish it had a neck support cushion with velcro strap. Then I would have given it five stars.

Excellent, sturdy, multi-pocketed, padded side-wall gig-bag with beefy zippers. Holds my Taylor 320SEB dreadnaught perfectly. Not too loose, not too tight. Only one complaint: it only comes in black. It would be nice if it came in other colors or maybe even some patterning. Nevertheless, probably the best gig-bag out there for the money. Highly recommend it.

very high quality bag; felt compelled to write a review about it. well with the money. put my 12 string electric in it, fit nice and snug; thick shell, multiple pockets. got a Gator bag for another guitar which was 1/2 the price, but this is 5 times the bag so I wish I had bough 2.

I must say I'm conflicted about my beautiful new case. Why? Because it's absurd that such a high quality, well made case cost me $43 dollars. Almost every time I look at it, I imagine some poor people in a factory in God knows where (China?) working for 50 cents an hour, slaving over textile machines 12 or more a day. When you consider the material costs, (outer shell, zippers, back-pack straps, insulation, etc.) packing and shipping costs, how much could be left for labor, especially when you know the factory owner, and of course (Amazon) took their share as well. Like many people I'm just trying to make ends meet (as a pro musician) and it's hard to pass up a great deal, but still, I feel for the people who make these outrageously inexpensive products for us here in the West. . My last case was totally falling apart and I needed to know my guitar would be safe. I know it's just a part of our global economic reality, but I don't want to lose sight of the true costs of the products we buy. Prayers for all of the people who made my beautiful new guitar case.

5/19 update: wrote to Protec, they sent me a replacement bag immediately. Maybe I had a dud, and customer service is top notch, so raising the stars.5/5/18 update: well after about 6 months, the bag did not hold up. I patched it many times and it still rips right and left, straps, next to zipper, body seams, etc. Keeping 2 stars because the one I had bought 2 years ago is still in good shape. I used both bags about equally about twice a week, and I'm very careful to not mishandle them. I submitted a warranty claim to Protec, I'll update this review based on what happensWell made and good protection; good and comfortable straps. Not quite the 2.5mm padding I was expecting which is why I knocked off 1 star. And also for lack of neck support and meager bottom padding, since these are the 2 areas where your guitar is most likely to suffer damage. Granted the description doesn't imply anything otherwise so it's as expected, but still it'd be nice to overcome that weakness. The interior fabric is soft and it allows you to use velcro if want to add some more padding (I was able to add some foam padding at the bottom and under the neck and use the loop side of a velcro piece so they stay in place).Things I wished it had.- a longer front pocket (to put a folding music stand or guitar stand)- a handle on the top of the guitar (there is one at the base of the neck)- neck support and thicker bottom foam paddingWith these additions it'd a 10-star case!

Seems like a nice quality bag overall. The padding is good, it's not too big for my smaller guitar, and I love the pockets which fit my notebook and tablature perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for in that regard. My only qualms (and small ones at that) are that the zippers seem to stick a bit and I wish the top pocket near the neck was a little less flat because it's a little tough getting my tiny hand in there. The straps are taking me a little time to adjust to but that might be because I'm just used to my old bag. That said, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

I'm really very pleased with this bag, I got this to go with a guitar that my daughter is getting for Christmas, the guitar is nearly 43" and lots of bags don't seem to go to this length but this bag has a small amount of 'wiggle room' all around - not so much that the guitar is moving about, and not too little that it's snug, just the perfect amount. The bag is generously padded and I have no concerns that my accident prone daughter might still damage her guitar, there are enough pockets (still with plenty of padding and of large capacity) to carry all her accessories. The fabric looks strong and the stitching looks like they will last. The backpack straps and handle look sturdy. The bag is much better than the one on the rental guitar she is currently using, that we were originally going to purchase from the music studio she attends. This one is far superior and all things considered I'm very pleased, it cost a little more than I was looking to pay but I'm now pleased with my choice.
