The unit is solid and sturdy. The 2 pulley system worked perfectly for my application. Installation was easy enough. All 5 stars so far. But: (1) the instructions were hazy on helpful details. The YouTube video was helpful but dwelled too much on how to drill a hole, (2) I had an issue with one side retracting higher than the other (by a lot, like a 8-9inch difference end to end) after leveling the bar fully extended (2 stars), (3) their “customer service” is really bad. I called to get clarification on parts before installed and was directed to Lisa (I guess she’s their “customer service” department. I got voice mail with a message that she was on vacation and would return November something (it’s March now). Of course, I never got a call back. When I emailed them about the uneven lifting I got a return message asking me for my number so whomever could talk me through the fix. I gave them my number and……no surprise, never got a call back (0 stars). Summary: this is a pretty good unit but heaven forbid you would need help from their “customer service missing” department.

Product no longer has option to have professional install. Also hoist attachments not geared for e-bikes, needs a better design to raise bikes level not hanging down! Had to purchase chain links to obtain stronger attachment to bikes. Motor is great! Not really a great solution and I only placed two bikes on product not four as described.

Very good motor and product! If you can install this by yourself, it will be easy to make the needed modifications to fit your needs. Examples:1. Deducted 1 star for "Easy to Install" because the instruction manual pictured the pully bar mounted to the motor in the opposite direction. After I mounted the plate with 6 bolts, I realized I had to move the mounting plate further away from my wall. The nag is having an additional 6 screw holes in the new 2x4 joists I installed.2. The bikes are mounted with a single hook. This causes the bike's wheel to tilt downwards and the entire bike frame could turn side-to-side. I plan to jimmy something together to hold the bike steady.Only smiles from me as I push a button to reclaimed some of my garage space back!! Nice job ProSlat!!

The system is good and sturdy and I am pleased with the ease of install. My unit was missing the shoe bag but the seller sent it the same day I contacted them. I am very pleased with the transaction and ease of customer service.
