  • Promenaid’s durable finishes utilize anodizing, powder-coating, and real wood wrapping. These finishes will not scratch or dent under normal use in residential or commercial settings.

  • All Promenaid Handrail finishes, except for TrueWood wood-wrapped finishes, are suitable for indoor, outdoor, and in-shower use. All-weather finish options include powder coat White or anodized Champagne, Silver, Architectural Bronze, & Satin Black.

  • Yes! A major benefit of Promenaid is that the brackets can easily be positioned and repositioned anywhere along the handrails patented channel by un-twisting, sliding, and re-twisting. Once in place, brackets pivot to effortlessly align with studs.

  • Thanks to the modular design of the Promenaid system, adjustments are easier than any other handrail. If your handrail does not fit, let us know and we’ll be happy to help. If the handrail is too long, it can be easily trimmed with a miter saw.

  • Promenaid handrails are made in North America. Our locally sourced aluminum is produced with hydropower, resulting in 5x less CO2 emissions than smelters using coal-based power. TrueWood handrails use 1/50th of the wood of a solid wood handrail.

Great product. Looks sharp. Easy to install and very functional. The stability and sturdy design are perfect for my basement stairwell. The only tough part is putting the bottom gasket into place to finish it off. Once completed it is great.

I installed this kit outside to provide safe negotiation of steps from my patio door to the patio which is 3=steps below the door. It went up easily by following the provided instructions and is very attractive. It's exposed to the weather, but I expect it will weather well. The kit arrived in its own box, packed very well and protected against damage. The kit is made up of excellent aluminum materials and the flexible inserted plastic cover that fits in a groove keeps insects out. Excellent material for this small installation and the quality of materials justifies the higher cost of this kit.

Solid, well designed, well made hand rail. Well worth the price. Size is good for closing hand around rail for good grip. Able to slide hand along rail as brackets attach underneath.

I ordered an 8 foot handrail and it Was FedEx Shipped from Florida to Washington state in two Days. It came in an excellent proprietary package with all items secured and zero damage to the contents. The aluminum rail, brackets, and accompanying screws are top quality, and easy to install. The components are machined real well and everything fits easily, just as advertised. I am 100% disabled and wheelchair bound, and the handrail will help me in the pantry, reaching for items on the counter or in the cabinets. Safety at its best!Update: Finished installing the handrail and it was a breeze, especially with the snap-on brackets. Great engineering and forethought for customer DIY installation. I am 76 years old and wheelchair bound but was able to install the handrail myself because everything fit perfectly; no modifications needed! I initially ordered the rounded ends for the railing, but it made it more difficult to clean the countertop after cooking or food preparation. So I contacted the seller, Micaela, and received flat end caps in two days, which allowed me to finish my safety project. What great, responsive customer service! I highly recommend Promenaid for quality products. Best bang for the buck when you consider time loss and medical costs from a fall, regardless of user’s age :)

Looked around for a lot of rails, as our stairs did not have one, and for older family and friends it is a necessity. Found this one, a little more expensive than Steel Pipe rails, but looks better, comes with all the handles and end curves to make it safe and very sturdy. One feature is under the bottom of the hand rail slides a PVC strip that when you grab the handle your fingers grab onto the PVC which creates a might better grip than just an aluminum or steel rail would provide.Installation is not tough, watch the videos on their website and that helps alot. once you get the top positioned at the right height, it's easy to level it down the wall for a good fit.

Extremely happy with this purchase. This is a well thought out product with quality components. The shipping package is probably the best I have ever seen as all components were well protected. Some folks complained about the instructions but I feel they are straightforward. There are videos online for those needing better visuals. About the hardest part is making sure you have identified the wall stud locations for mounting the brackets. Delivery of the item was very prompt. This is a very safe handrail system. Highly recommended.

Well made, very sturdy, great grip and relatively easy to install. Hint: Used heat from hair dryer to make rubber more pliable when inserting on the underside.

It's now been about 3 years since we installed this handrail - it is standing up well to daily use. Also looks very nice - added a bit of class to an otherwise ordinary looking stairway.

Safe, Sturdy, Stylish, Easy InstallDesigned to save you from a bad fall down the stairs. I love the grippy grab safety strip running the entire length of the railing -- no slipping when you grab this rail. The mounting hardware is easy to install and very sturdy. It's a gorgeous handrail to boot.

These handrails are amazing. They work great. Had a family member coming to stay with us who has bad knees. These helped her greatly navigating our stairs. Have also helped me out when I’ve tweaked my own knee.Installation takes a lot of care to get them in the studs. You need a good stud finder as well as a long finishing nail to confirm where the edges of the studs are. There isn’t much room to miss, so you really have to get the brackets centered.Love the ADA curved end caps. When finished, the whole thing feels really solid. I’m very impressed with the product. My only con is that the top of the bracket, near where it meets the rail, has a very sharp metallic bit that will cut you if sliding your hand down the rail. This is a design flaw. I remedied it by wrapping some black electrical tape around this part of each bracket. Looks good - can only see the tape on very close inspection.

I got these for two deck stairs railings. I used them as secondary continuous railings that is needed to pass the California code.Pros:- Very well made.- Good metal and well painted.- Nice design for the supports;- Certainly a do-it-yourself kind of railing- shipping on time, packaging goodCons:- Expensive.- The prepackaged options either have too many or too little of the supporting hardware depending on your situation. A reasonably priced ala-cart would have been better.- When connecting the rails to the end pieces, there is always a visible gap at the connection. The two pieces basically need to exactly meet at the junction but they never do. Especially if you have to cut one. That means water can get in (in case of outdoor use). An overlapping fit would have been better.- You sometimes get to a catch 22 situation when installing these rails on stairs. The railing supports head tilts left and right to accommodate the needed slope. It has a screw that needs to be tightened so it can keep its angle. you need to install the rail and the tilting head support to see what that angle is, but then you cannot fasten the screw that holds the head's angle after installation because it is either blocked by the post or the wall, unless you have a 90-degree screwdriver. If you fasten the screw before installing the railing, you are at best guessing the angle and you may be wrong and have to uninstall, reinstall.I am generally very happy with the product.
