They shocks are good. 280 Lb rider. passenger 30% of the time. 13" Chrome "Heavy duty" Install was a breeze, used the Craftsman ATV/Motorcycle floor jack, 5/8" reg socket and tape measure to measure the sag. Had to make adjustments with just myself on the bike, just the 1/4 turn recommended from default setting. I've put 500+ miles in a week on them and they work great. Should have done this 5 Harleys back. God bless!!

Shocks came very fast and I installed them immediately on my 04 Ultra Limited. What a great improvement over the factory air shocks. I bought the heavy duty shocks and took a little bit to dial them in but. I went down roads that I would usually bottom out and feel every bump and the shocks floated thru.. Only bad thing is now I have to upgrade the front suspension!

This, plus new gas inserts in the forks, and a new set of tires, my bike is like new again. Removed alot of uneasiness. Keep in mind I've also installed stabilizers, replaced all mounts, etc a coup[le years ago. All this stuff wears out, but this was the final piece that help re-stabilize my bike.

Maybe my expectations were raised too high by reading other reviews. I do believe it provides a better ride, especially cornering. I do not think it is earth shattering better than the stick air shocks.

After 20K on my Road King, the air shocks were shot and leaked air. So replacements...Progressive 444 shocks for the Harley Davidson. Installed on my 2014 Road King after their first ride. 170 miles.I really wanted to try the new Progressive shocks out on a long stretch, so on a warm day in April it took them out. They did not disappoint. There were many instances I knew the old shocks would have spanked me, but not today. They just float along. I gave them a good beating over some pretty crappy stretches of winter beaten Iowa blacktop and and no point did I get anything unwanted from the suspension. Like the brand name tells you, they are "progressive" springs. This means the spring is wound with some sort of compound magic ratio, some turns are closer than others. This creates a "soft zone", and a "firm zone". While cruising it is soft and smooth but under more demanding conditions you feel it stiffen and keep the bike right in pocket. The difference in handling performance is pretty incredible. The biggest difference I noticed was in the corners. With the stock air shocks, no matter how I adjusted them, the bike would squat down in the corners, or under hard acceleration. Anything that shifted the weight to the rear, the air shocks just gave up.These shocks hold the bikes suspension load properly, keeping the weight where it supposed to be, maintaining the balance and handling characteristics of the bike under more demanding and extreme conditions. I was able to corner faster, and get into the power sooner without leaning as much or the bike wanting to move off of its line. Everything about the handling, for a lack of a better word, is "confident". It's solid, you feel you can ask a lot more of your bike, and it answers. If you ever feel that your suspension isn't delivering the ride or handling you think it should, I highly recommend checking out Progressive's products.

I knew the ride would be better, but I am surprised how much better. No longer are my teeth rattling on our bad city streets. My girl can't believe the difference these have made. Easy to install. There were an addtional type of spacer in the box that wasn't included in the instructions but all I needed was the shouldered sleeve and my original bolts ans washers.Install took all of 30 minutes. I wish I would have bought these sooner.
