Nicely padded. Fits our 17inch large trail saddle pad. The zippers are heavy duty so hopefully they will hold up.

It's pretty rare that you buy a product and it fails the very first time you try to lift it.... that is what happened to one of the three bags that I bought.... the other two shoulder straps broke by the third time they were handled.The nylon loop where the D ring is sewn in is barely sewn for maybe 1 1/2" with what appears to be just regular thread....certainly not sufficient enough to support a western saddle.In my opinion, the zippers looked good and the cover padding seemed fine.....but when I finished my first trip even one of the zippers was coming apart

Looks great, fits either of my 17" Western saddles (one heavy with a lot of silver and one more plain Western/Ranch riding style). It's very well constructed using durable materials.
