I haven’t been using this product for two years still very durable. Does not fade makes my MacBook Pro still look good. I wanna buy another one so that I can see the back light on the key keyboard.

I bought this to replace my current one. The latter is still useable, but the purple edges are beginning to fade. This one is decent enough to make the keyboard's backlight shine through, but it's hard to tell when trying to type in the dark.

I have tried few other brands before for macbook pro 13'' 2018, but this one is by far the most accurate and adjust one and comes in multiple colors. It's awesome. Don't search any more, just buy it. Although I have just started using it and I can't say for sure goes it wears and tears and if there letters are going to fade away or not. TBD on that one.

I write a lot and the face of keys became worn away white blotches. This keyboard works really well and fits great. The 'caps lock' key's hole for keyboard green light is larger than necessary, so the alignment does not have to be perfect and light still shines through. When you are looking for the proper keyboard, don't just look at year and make because apparently some are still different. Be sure to make sure that the touch board at top of keyboard has the proper "escape" tab (my keyboard leaves it bare, which is good; and, be sure to check the arrows in bottom right corner of keyboard. Apparently, for some keyboards the rt & lt arrows are half size. Mine are full. This is perfect. The blue ombre is great color, too.

I was a bit dubious due to the price (it’s so cheap!) but I love it. It’s easy to apply and remove for cleaning/wiping down. Fits perfectly to my MacBook Pro. Colours are great. Working from home and being a snacker my keyboard was getting jammed up. I tried using an air canister to clean the keys but this resulted in the paint (or whatever it is) starting to remove from the keyboard. Didn’t take me long to get used to having this on the keyboard. It’s is very very sheer so barely any difference typing on it. Stays in place. Easy to remove for cleaning and to reapply. Great value for money.

I ordered the black one knowing very well that it wasn't see through. So, image my surprise when I was about to throw the packaging away and noticed another cover on the paper. I thought it was just whatever the black cover was stuck to in order to stay in place in the packing, but when I pulled it off the paper I noticed it was a clear cover. I'm using that one instead of the black one, even though the black on looks great, just because of being able to see all of the backlighting.Fits great. Feels great. I love it.

This is a good keyboard cover. The keys are sort of the Achilles heal for a laptop in that they can get particles and liquids into the guts of the machine. This does seem to protect them. The keys on the new MacBook Pro are very thin and I was skeptical this would work, but it fits over the keys and magically stick in place. Down sides the caps lock light does not line up with the clear window on the protector. If I were to order again, I would probably order the clear one as it would facilitate the lighted keys showing up. The do shine through, but the print on the protector does not match the print on the keys and it creates a shadow effect. Not a big deal. Also the protector is a magnet for grease and dirt and the letters can turn black. On the plus side I was impressed how well this stuck to the keys. almost like a magnet and it seems to do the job. Dows not seem to affect the feel or function of typing, so good product.

Used keyboard covers with my MacBook Pros all these years - and they saved my bacon more than once with a wayward coffe mug...Was not going to take a risk with this new MacBook Pro that costs as much as a used car, so I was happy to try this keyboard cover.Pluses:+ Silicone, NOT TPU like my previous keyboard covers. TPU ages over time and let's say it does not look worthy of the keyboard. Silicone is slinkier and more clingy on the keyboard side, and really disappeared on the keyboard.+ Would probably be acceptable for use in a dirty, dusty environment to somewhat protect the keys and and mechanics/circuitry beneath the keys. That is not a need in my case, though...Minuses:- Would probably be fine for protecting against splashes in the MIDDLE of the keyboard. Edges are iffy because of the "new" and "courageous" design of the keyboard - with virtually no channel around the keyboard for the protective cover to rest in. My previous MBP keyboard covers have a comfy 2-4 mm wide channel to lodge into - and protect against edge spills (the ones that really get you! ) This cover is essentially flat and does not even try to fill the narrow channel around the edges - just rests on top of the keys. Don't know if this a solvable problem with a more precise molding - I hope so.- The "Caps Lock" LED placement was off - kinda chopping the led in half. Not a show stopper.- SHOW STOPPER: The keycaps are black, with SOLID WHITE INK letters. What this means is each key is completely OPAQUE and you have effectively disabled the backlit keyboard. That's a "no go" for me, as it's one of the most beloved features - typing away in my comfy chair in near total darkness.So it had to be returned. :(Given that it cannot really protect against full-keyboard spills and is opaque - it does not work for me.Three stars for reasonable price and partial protection. Will wait for a better version to pop up - which is anyday now...
