Excellent design, you can store cartridge upside down easily because they have a recess hole in the bottom for neck of cartridge to drop in and you can tighten cap flush. Control valve lever for ease of letting co2 in smoothly. Beautiful finish and sturdy construction. Fits easily into saddle bag. Best feature is it has a threaded end for attaching to presta valve without fear of losing co2 during inflation. Well worth the price. I have four of them one for each bike I own. Don't realize how much it is worth until you have a puncture.

Someone gave design some thought. One of those things you hope you don’t have to use but when you do you want it as good as this.

I ride 10k+ miles per year including rain/snow/nasty weather so have long shed any tolerance for unreliable gear. Flats are an inevitable nuisance, and one area where trying to save a buck or two is almost never worth it. Depending on the type of riding you do, there are two recommended approaches towards being prepared for flats:Group rider or shorter solo rides in populated/urban areas--a single Co2 cartridge will handle a single inflation, so anything beyond a single flat or any issues trying to use that single cartridge is not that big a deal because you're not likely to be stranded. Priority is convenience.Commuter or solo rider in more remote areas--reliability and redundancy is critical. Co2 is convenient, but you'll want more than a single cartridge and/or backups such as patch kits, mini hand pump, etc.Co2 cartridges are generally considered much more convenient than using hand pumps, but notoriously unreliable and hard to use. The primary issues are getting a proper fit on the valve and being able to control the flow. Problems with either of these can result in leak/discharge of the cartridge without managing to inflate the tire, or if the cartridge is more than the tube holds (ex. 20g cartridge for a 700x23 tube) not being able to stop the inflation before the tube pops. That's why it's usually a good idea to carry at least 2 cartridges if you have room. With that said, I have to say this is one of the finest Co2 devices I've used, period, and that includes some that are more than twice the price. It is reliable, easy to use, easy to control, and very minimalist in space/weight. The only smaller options out there are head only (screw onto the cartridge) and that saves a couple grams and maybe a cubic inch of storage, but they tend to be finicky to get a good seal on the valve and control the inflation. This is made from good quality aluminum, so rust is not going to be an issue, though I found the threads a little snug and applied a little wet lube (thick oil) makes things open/close smoothly. The control valve is not only easy to use but also clearly labeled so you know whether you're open or closed. The best feature, in my opinion, is that the head is designed to work with both Presta and Shrader vales (nothing special about that, most do this) but also threads onto each so you can screw it on for a perfectly reliable seal before opening the valve to inflate. That, to ,me, makes this an exceptional product and an excellent value. This is immediately replacing the $40 mini Co2 kit currently on my daily commuter bike, and I'll likely also buy a couple more for my road bikes to replace the minimalist head-only products and/or to toss in a jersey pocket when heading out on a longer ride or when leading a group when I tend to be the one who gets to support the unprepared riders.

This is one of the better products you will ever find on the bike tools market. I wanted a CO-2 nozzle that was small, yet had the lever to control the amount of air going into my tires. I also wanted something as small as possible, as space/weight is limited on triathlon bikes. This product checks off every need. The machining work is impeccable, and this is not a cheaply made product. A CO-2 canister will fit, upside down, perfectly inside the tube, and there is an indention in the bottom with a small rubber grommet to hold the canister in place. When you screw the top on, it presses it in place, with no rattling at all. And the whole thing is smaller in diameter than if you had one of those foam sleeves over your canister. If/when you need to use it, simply unscrew the top, the canister slides right out, turn it right side up and screw it into the top cap. It punctures automatically, and doesn't leak. Screw the tube back on, and you have some protection against the freeze when you dispel the air. The nozzle screws onto your valve as well, so no leakage. The nozzle itself can be unscrewed and reversed for Presta or Schrader valves. The valve goes from closed to fully open in about a quarter turn.I used this without gloves, and although the sleeve and nozzle do get cold (mostly the nozzle), I was able to hold the sleeve without it getting too cold to hold. I'd probably recommend using a glove or a rag if you're concerned about that.Really a well made product. We bought two, and I'd definitely recommend this as a great addition to your bike repair kit.

I only started cycling last year, and since getting on the saddle, have not looked back. I believe that prevention is better than cure, and as a result have kitted my bikes with what I consider to be the best puncture resistance tyres on the market (Continental GP 4000 s2). However, one should always be prepared for a road side emergency. Carrying a pump is fine, however, I have recently been introduced to these CO2 inflators. The inflator is well packaged (as shown in the attached picture) and contains instructions on how to use it. The finish of the product is very good, and has an industrial design to a very high standard. The valve attached is stiff, and the inflator itself is very light in weight, and can easily fit into a cycling jersey's rear pocket or saddle bag.The operation behind them is simple. Simply insert a CO2 canister (sold separately) into the inflator, and you are ready to release the gas from the canister into your tyre. I have tried this with my bike which has ores valves, and it was very quick and easy. I used Lifeline 16g CO2 inflators, and the psi of my tyre was at ~115, which would be perfect for getting back home and fine-tuning with a proper pump. One thing I should add is that if yo leave the CO2 in the tyre, it will make your tyre flatter a lot quicker than normal air, so releasing the CO2 canister back at home and re-pumping with a floor pump is highly recommended. I got this information from a GCN video.All-in-all, I am very impressed with CO2 inflators, and this one is quite exceptional. It works well, has a good build and has a premium finish. Highly recommended if you would like a hassle free and quick way to inflate your tyres at the roadside. 5/5Note: I was sent this product for free to provide an honest and unbiased review.

I like this. It is well made and well thought out. The presta and schrader connection is screwed onto the vlave for a nice tight no-leak fit. It is small enough to carry in a bag under your bike seat with your spare tube and patch kit. I would recommend not screwing the CO2 cartridge in until you need it. It is good for one tube on a mountain bike, with a little gas left, and possibly two tubes on a road bike with slim tires. The manufacturer recommends replacing the CO2 in your tube with room air when you finish your ride. The CO2 will dissipate through the rubber somehow. That is why I rated it 4 stars. I inflated two tires on my mountain bike and they held up fine for over 3 days but the bike was sitting for those 3 days. I would recommend this due to it's small size and relatively light weight with the CO2 cartridge carried with it. No effort required to fill a tire to max pressure. I had a defect in the one I received and they sent me another one that arrived in 3 days. Superb customer service and a sincere desire to do right by you.
