Primos has always been a top quality producer of game calls. This one didn't disappoint with its ease of use (just make sure to keep it chalked using the chalk that's provided). I called in my first turkey using a Primos box call. It gives a full range of different turkey sounds including cuts, cackles, clucks, purrs, and yelps.

My father swore by this call for many years. He had called in many gobblers and had successful hunts using this call. The tone is rich from the Mahogany box and the walnut lid. As a guitarist I know wood has its own unique tonal qualities. Some of the best guitars are made from mahogany because it’s dense and resonant. This call is no different. Perfect high to low notes every time! You can get very loud and raspy or soft and subtle. Clucks and Cutting are a breeze on this call with the thumb groove. The fly down cackle is also a breeze! If you want a call that sounds identical to a hen Turkey then this is the call you want! Are there more expensive calls out there? Yes, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a call in this price point that beats this one! I look forward to getting in the woods this April! Primos makes quality calls! When they say “Speak the Language” they aren’t kidding!

Is s great raspy call, VERY LOUD, it takes a soft touch. The finish on it was pretty bright, i had to spray paint it flat. It also only works in one direction

I picked up an OTC tag after completing my hunter ed course, and found this here on Amazon which seemed reasonably priced and rated well.Despite my inexperience, I managed to call four turkeys my first day with this call. None of them came close enough to take a shot. On the second day I called in another group that passed me by, but another group came right up within 25 feet of me and I got one, I couldn't believe it.It sounds a bit higher pitch than some other calls, at least to me. With it being one-sided, sometimes the lid would ride up on the thumb area and make a loud click/chirp when attempting to pick it up, but that's likely my inexperience.Overall, it seems well made and if it worked for me, it will likely work for you.
