I am unhappy that it comes with so little data because I could not really test how well the service worked before spending more money on a data plan. The card fit my sim tray with no problems, and was very easy to set up and use. The plans are overpriced in my opinion, but it will do as a backup data source in case of emergencies or power outages that require long waits for my gateway to come back online.

Bought this SIM card thinking it would work with my Ksun Zl10! It still doesn’t work since buying it!

I was hoping to test this with one of my carplay adapters that supported cellular hotspot. While I can understand the need to set up an account, I didn't like the requirement that I needed to add a credit card to the account. This is supposed to be prepaid and I could see the desire to prompt AFTER the current use expired, that was not the case.

I have notified Amazon that your description on Amazon was terribly deceptive in failing to make clear that the stated use for "Data" in fact actually meant that you blocked texts and that you specifically do not suppport text - and having nothing in the packaging or your web site that in any way discussed this or provides instructions that are clear and complete as to use in creating a cell number for use. In fact, the desctriptions you publish focus on usi in Apple Watch and not the expected use in a cellphone.

I ordered this to put in a Verizon jetpack MiFi hotspot, with the intent of controlling a smartplug so I could turn on/off an engine heater in a hangar located 30 minutes away from home. Setup turned out to be a breeze: after putting the SIM into the jetpack, I logged in to the jetpack web interface per the Verizon tutorial, and changed the APN as specified in the KiwiSIM instructions. After rebooting the jetpack everything started working. *Unlike other reviewers I did NOT have to do any kind of signup to start my included 3-day trial.*My only complaint is that the jetpack claims I'm roaming - on T-mobile I believe - and will not tell me how much data I've used. I am unsure if this is due to a problem with the jetpack or the SIM. It does not matter much in my use case, as these smartplugs use very little data, but could have been an issue had the SIM been used e.g. for a surveillance cam or any other data intense application.My 72 hours/3 days trial period of trouble free operation came to an end about an hour ago, and as expected the smartplug just went offline. Once the weather gets colder and I need the engine heater, I plan to top up the card to make it through the winter. If I have any problems at that point I will update the review.

This is a fairly good service to have internet at a reasonable price. It allows you to use this as a modem to connect to the Internet with your Laptop, cell phone, even a desk top computer that has a wireless WiFi connection.As long as you are within the coverage of a cell tower supported by this service, you should be able to get a good connection.I use it so my kids can watch their kid shows while we are driving.And sometimes, I can be in a distant town while I am travelling and not be able to make a call with my cell phone, but the hotspot device will be able to get a signal so I can make a call through it (by using the WiFi function on my phone). I found that a bit strange, but I guess the hotspot service can access different service providers that my cell phone can't.Very useful , and you don't have to have a contract.

This sim card installed and booted without issue. I am using it n a 4G security camera at the bottom of our 1/4 mile long driveway. It has worked without a hitch since being installed. The rate plans are among the most competitive out there.
