Hubby's been through a few different kayaks that didn't last, and wanted something sturdier, but still affordable. This kayak fit the bill perfectly! He loves it. It's easy to inflate and deflate, the material it's made of is clearly sturdier than the typical inflatable kayak. And it floats and steers great!

Avevo un kayak sevylor che ridendo e scherzando mi è durato più di un decennio finché un bel giorno non è scoppiata la tela…Ho acquistato questo kayak un po’ fuori stagione invogliato dal prezzo alettante e dalle caratteristiche costruttive dichiarate dalla casa, non sono ancora riuscito a provarlo in acqua per cui la mia recensione è basata esclusivamente sulla prima impressione che questo kayak mi ha dato da quando mi è arrivato a casa a quando l’ho gonfiato e sgonfiato in soggiorno un po’ di volte.era un po’ che cercavo un kayak dropstich ad alta pressione e la prima impressione di questo Bluefin Ranger è stata totalmente positiva.Il Kayak è dotato di 3 camere d’aria tutte ad altra pressione, la pressione di gonfiaggio consigliata sulle valvole è di 4 PSI, è una volta gonfio risulta molto rigido per tutta la sua struttura. Le due pinne touring si possono montare tranquillamente a kayak gonfio a differenza del sevylor dove la pinna andava necessariamente montata prima del gonfiaggio.La dotazione è davvero completa e di qualità, partendo dalla pompa manuale ad alta pressione, passando per la coppia di pagaie completamente smontabili e regolabili, allo zaino che permette di far stare tutto il kayak fatta eccezione per lempagaie che non sono riuscito a incastrarli, una bag stagna porta cellulare, inoltre il kayak dispone di ben due tasche a prua di cui una completamente stagna e molto profonda.Tengo a precisare inoltre che il kayak che mi è arrivato presentava dei piccoli difettucci principalmente di natura estetica, contattato l’assistenza la quale si è subito dimostrata molto disponibile a venire incontro alle esigenze del cliente e a fornire una soluzione molto vantaggiosa anche per me.Aggiornerò la mia recensione appena riuscirò a provarlo ma per ora mi ritengo molto soddisfatto del mio acquisto.

Not a fan of SUPS but in order to get on the water with my wife I opted for this Bluefin kayak and sure am happy with my purchase. It’s easy to set up and I’m surprised at how easy it is to inflate and deflate. We were on a lake for 3 hrs and it performed as advertised. It’s a bit heavy but not bad and I’m 73 but highly recommend this kayak .

Great kayak that had a couple of issues on our first trip, but Bluefin service was outstanding in correcting the problems... and SO fast.We love the inflatable seats and set up with the velcro. Looking forward to many trips in this kayak.It actually FITS in the backpack provided after we used it!

I searched long and hard for a tandem drop-stitch floor kayak that was reasonably priced and landed on this Ranger kayak on Prime day. We've only used it a couple of times so far, so my review is based on that. The kayak inflated easily, but directions could be better. The directions say to first inflate floor, but then at the end finish inflating the floor. This needs to be changed to inflate floor part way before proceeding to step two. Once the kayak was all put together, we stood back and commented how cool looking it was. The colors are really nice and a change from most mundane ones we've seen. Kudos to the designer! We got many compliments on it the day we used it. The components that come with the kayak (Pump, oars, backpack, etc.) are good quality and also very attractive. The seats are fantastic and very comfortable. If there is a con, it's that the foam grip padding on the floor is not as durable as I would have liked as we got a small tear in it under the back seat (not sure what caused this), but it was easily repaired. Customer service was quick and responsive through email when I had a question. I do wish and would suggest that they sell the floor section separately in the future. They do not as of yet. That would be a plus. Kayak performed well and tracked much better than our previous one due to the two skegs which are easily removable. Now packing this down into the backpack was challenging and took a few tries to get it down. A video from Bluefin on this would be helpful. There's no way the pump would fit, but we got everything else in fine. Overall, if you get a good sale price this is a great value kayak for the money. I will update my review if anything changes in the future. I hope this helps. :)

The boat seemed nice, but the floor developed a leak after the first use. Now it doesn’t stay inflated for more than 30 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend!

I recently purchased the Bluefin Ranger kayak and cannot really fault it either as a single seat or a double seat kayak.After years owning a hard shell kayak and getting older I needed a more stable boat due to back and other health issues.The boat will be in use all year round and having a more stable boat is a must especially in the winter months.The boat can be inflated in 5 minutes and is very well thought out with carrying handles at the sides and each end.It has the most comfortable high backed seat I've used and it tracks well as a single seater or double seat option as I use it to take the grand kids in as well.The drop stitch floor is great and improves the boats stability.It also has plenty of storage and even a couple of dry storage pockets and even a camera mount on the front.The kayak also has good paddles and a nice bag to pack it away in at the end of the day.Can't really fault it at all.
