Looked nice and natural, my fish and frogs never seemed to use them much though. One broke during cleaning after over a year of use, though not super durable. You have to stack them just right for them to stay, or they can be placed separately. These stones are small but not tiny, African dwarf frogs fit alright, but not much bigger could.

I have a damselfish, and he absolutely loves this. Sleeps in it and goes into it when he's scared. He gets so upset when I have to clean it. It's easy to clean and looks nice in the tank. This came with sandpaper, which you definitely want to make sure you use, as out of the box the rock caves were a bit rough.

These rocks are good for the price, they’re nice and heavy so they do not move. My beta was a little cautious about them at first, but a few days in he loves swimming through them. I highly recommend

Added these two small rocks to my aquarium for places for my fish to hide. They are well made much more sturdy then the other fake rocks / caves in my aquarium. Also enjoy they have a sand like texture. Will be purchasing another set.

I had bought some different ones from another maker that I had to return because of chipping paint so these were a replacement. I bought them for fish to hide in while in quarantine. I usually don't use man made objects on my aquariums because I like to make it as natural as possible. When I received these at first I just noticed a couple of rough bumps on the outside that I thought were no big deal to sand off but then I ran my finger around the inside rim of the holes and it was very sharp. Not sharp if you only feel around the hole but from the inside there is a very sharp rim that could obviously cause damage to a fish's fins. If I hadn't already returned one set and really needed these I would have sent back. I spent a good bit of time sanding so I'd say definitely not worth it. I think people may not put their fingers inside to feel that sharp rim because from the outside it looks and feels smooth. Beware.

I bought this for my female betta 2 and a half months ago. In this time, she’s ever only gone in it once, and then my shrimp and snails took over. No problem, it was still getting used.It gets green algae pretty easy, so you’d have to scrub that off occasionally if it bothers you. I don’t want to have to take out items weekly or monthly to clean them so I didn’t scrub it too much.I think my betta hates the little houses, cause she had been using it as a poop corner the entire time. I knew there was some outside of the houses, I could see it and vacuum it up during water changes, but recently I took the houses out and holy sh** (literally) I picked them up and my mistake, I shook them to get the gravel out IN my tank, Vs cleaning them in the sink, since I wasn’t sure my shrimp were in there. Those things were so full of poop it was crazy. I think my three shrimp and five snails made it their pooping corner as well. You can see in the last photo how murky the water got after shaking them out, and that wasn’t as bad as it was when I first shook it out. (Water is fine now)Not the manufacturers fault, just turns out my betta and friends don’t like the houses. But I suggest after this little discovery, check monthly and take out to clean if you can (I couldn’t because I had a plant growing out of one.Yesterday I moved them to a 5.5 gal tank for growing plants and my three shrimp temporarily (waiting for the bigger tank to come) since my betta has been terrorizing them. Hopefully with only shrimp in there the poop problem won’t happen again.
