How Home Pregnancy Tests Work

How does the test work?
It detects a very small amount of the pregnancy hormone HCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in your urine. HCG is produced in increasing amounts during the first trimester of pregnancy.

How To Use The Pregnancy Testing Kit?
Tips before Pregnancy Test:
- Dont Drink Too Much Water Before Testing;
- Morning Urine Specimen Is Preferred Because Of Its Highest Concentration Of Hcg;
- Taking Something Containing Hcg Can Cause False Positive Results.
If your period has not started within a week after a negative result, another test should be run to re-test.If it's still negative, make an appointment with your health-care professional to determine what is going on. Some special conditions can also affect a woman to miss a period.Such as stress, excessive exercise, illness, and hormonal imbalances,etc.
When To Take A Pregnancy Test?

- You can test from the first day of a missed period if you know your period really well
- If not sure your next period due date,do the test at least 21days after you last had unprotected sex.

I generally don’t write reviews (especially negative) but I felt the need to for these. PLEASE do not buy these tests. I buy A LOT of pregnancy tests and these are by far the worst! To start, I didn’t like them in the first place because there is a piece of plastic over the result window and it just causes this horrible glare and shadow. I actually had to take off the front of the stick to see the strip because I literally couldn’t read it as is. But if that was the only problem I would not be writing this. Every single one of these 5 tests I took within 2 weeks and they ALL showed a faint test line. (It was mush darker in person) so either they were all faint positives, or these tests just give off an EXTREMELY DARK indent line. Either way, not good. Some the line was very faint (but still there) and a couple of them the line looked very dark to the point where I showed it to multiple people and they thought it was positive. I have been ttc for awhile so i was not overly disappointed at the false positives (I was taking other brands that did not show a second line anyway) but if you are new to ttc or just very sensitive about it please please please do not buy these tests. And baby dust to anyone that is ttc✨
