Working good so far but can't hardly read the screen because it it so dim. Can't figure out if you can turn up the brightness.

It’s a hefty unit that feels solid. Heavy heat sink fins to dissipate heat and easy to use control buttons. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Good option for my 12 volt batteries.

if you have young curious children or grandchildren, this is not the controller for you. You set the battery type and voltage by simply pressing the middle button. So if you have an AGM battery and your curious grandchild punches it and it lands on the 36v mode kiss anything in its path goodbye. However, I really don't understand how the USB plug put out so much power it fried my power bank. I'd say just don't buy this one, it is too easy to mess up.

Great value for money, super easy to use and display navigation isnt hard at all. Its a good size so feels sturdy. Easy to read what is on screen to know whats going on with system

I bought this product because I wanted to charge a 36V Li-ION (10S4P) scooter battery from a single 200W portable panel (VoC 22.5V; VMP 18.3V; IMP 10.93A).I misunderstood the advertised "boost charge" mode; I thought this product was a "boost converter" (the opposite of a buck converter); however, "boost charge" on this product is simply a description of the current / voltage sent to the battery.This device requires the panel have a higher voltage than the battery system.I did power up the device, and navigated the menus. Changing settings isn't very intuitive, but it's not hard either; one of those things you just need to read (and re-read) the manual for anytime you want to make a change. The somewhat non-intuitive controls are why I gave it 3/5 stars on the "Easy to Read" rating.It seems to have charging profiles for a wide variety of battery chemistries as well as allowing a user defined charging profile (which I would have had to use for a 10S4P 36V pack).The display looks really nice, and the unit feels sturdy.I returned it the same day it was delivered, and the seller issued me a refund promptly.

I accidentally disconnected the negative battery cable from this charger and completely killed it. Not sure exactly what I did but it can be fragile. Might be a good idea to buy two
