After two sets of stock calipers going bad, (sticking once they get hot), I went over to the PowerStop Kit with pads, calipers and rotors. The install was easy and the bleed was fast but worth it to flush first. The power of the brakes were noticeably better. Very resistant to rust so far. Brakes run cooler even when towing. Very good choice for my truck AND my Jeep.

June 2022, I purchased these rear POWERSTOP calipers, in addition to POWERSTOP's front calipers for my Jeep Wrangler. After installing the calipers, breaking was superb, until...A few months later while on a short work-trip (3 hours one-way from home) I started to notice the smell of burnt rubber. I discovered the rear passenger rotor reeked, which means the brake pad was getting cooked against the red-hot rotor. I took a water bottle and splashed it, steam shot out of the wheelwell (DO NOT DO THIS! I now know this can crack and warp your rotor). I waited a bit for it to cool down but didn't have the time to think much of it and had to get back on the road. Later I tried reapplying break lubricant--thinking the pads were sticking--OF COURSE I assumed it couldn't be the caliper the OEM calipers had lasted me 10 years! Well, I was wrong.Being busy, I kept driving around for a few more months. The burning smell had gone away but not because the issue was fixed. The smell went away because the break pad wore down to the metal (absolutely no pad left)... Luckily this did not end up damaging my new rotor but the heat has cause it to prematurely rust more so than all my other rotors. As far as having a passenger rear brake, I had been unknowingly driving around without stopping power on that tire, which is dangerous. Good think I'm a cautious driver and having three functioning breaks does slow the car to a stop.In the picture you can see what I had on the rear (driver's side is still PowerStop) versus the new Duralast caliper I had to pick up from AutoZone to replace the dysfunctional caliper...Why did I have to pick up a new caliper instead of getting a new one shipped to me from Powerstop? Because the Customer Service lady at Powerstop who seemed to know nothing about car parts said that there is only a 90-day warranty! 90-days? My original ones lasted 10 YEARS!But as you can tell from this long post, I will voice my opinion when someone saying something so insane as a 90-day warranty on a car part that is known to last most car owners years if not decade(s)... I told her to transfer me to tech support at PowerStop, which she did. I talked to a tech support guy and gave him the run-down of all the troubleshooting I have done over the week... He knew right away the piston is malfunctioning, mainly because I tried everything else in the book to fix the issue again, assuming there is not way this part can but broken after 7 months of use (actually it broke that rainy day on the road so more like it broke in like 3-4 months I just didn't know). He assured me that he would send me a replacement, he said just email him the Amazon order number to his tech email at powerstop.com. Well, guess who ran interference at PowerStop? Customer Service. Yep, I get an email back from "Customer Service @ Powerstop .com" Saying that they will get back to me about my issue. Hence, they gave me the run-around and no indication that they will replace the part. So I can't not drive--the bus doesn't run in rural America--so I had to go buy a replacement. The reason for TWO STARS instead of ONE STAR is that POWERSTOP components, i.e., the break input bolt, and bracket mounting bolts are of higher quality than Duralast. There is more width to head of the bolts so the ratchet is less likely to slip went tightening/loosening. Also, I do like the colored powdered coating. They look sharp and I really wanted to recommend Powerstop, but now I have three red calipers and one gray one, looks weird. Thanks Powerstop :

A year and a half later I’m replacing rear calipers again, both seized pistons 1 month apart. I love there brake pads but I will never buy calipers from them again

Worked as advertised. All the parts listed were included. I wish I had just bought the kit for all 4 brakes and rotors. Next time!

Paint job on these was not the best. Pretty sure I may need to touch them up to prevent corrosion.
