So I had high hopes for these but with the extra step of having to boil water and submerge the bag and thereby expose your food to high temp when you’re not cooking it yet which is a risk… and considering the zip ties don’t hardly work at all for some reason, leaving a huge air pocket in the bag… I don’t see how this is a better option than just vacuum sealing. Yes the bags shrink when you dump the water on them but heating water and having a big enough receptacle to hold it and the bag of food isn’t rewarding better convenience or food safety or effectiveness than just sucking the air out with a vacuum sealer or your mouth and a straw. I’m not impressed

I am so happ to receive these bags. There is never large enough bags to freeze whole chickens turkeys etc. These will be used for.many of my items! Will be using for large pkgs of chicken legs etc. Thankyou for this

These work well to fit for large meat chickens.This is very convenient when butchering Way easier than vacuum sealing and quicker. I buy these every year, never disappoint. Never had an issues with the quality. Otherwise impressed and would buy again.

I thought these bags worked fine….very very strong (need a very sharp knife to get the birds back out!). I thought it should contour to the bird a little better after being dunked in the hot water but otherwise these bags met my need and my expectation.
