Very useful since most modern tvs don't have a component input, which gives the best picture possible for the OG Wii. This connector gives an equal picture quality to having the component connection. Just make sure to go into your Wii settings after connecting and make sure the pic quality is at the higher setting.

Con este aparato (cable HDMI incluido) ha sido facilísimo darle una segunda vida a mi antigua consola. Mis hijos juegan muy contentos y animados. La tengo que racionar sólo a fines de semana. No me ha dado fallo y sonido y video son estupendos. Se ve mejor que en mi antigua tele HD. Ahora con esta OLED es una pasada.Recomendable

Wanted to hook the old WII up to a new tv that didn't have RCA inputs so for the price I decided to try this adapter. It works great. Super simple to hook up. My only complaint would be that the included HDMI cable is only about 3ft long which is not long enough if your TV is hung on the wall. Other than that it's great.

Appreciated the description of the product & felt I could buy in confidence due to their offer to help if I had problems which I did not. Appreciated the inclusion of a short hdmi cable. I couldn’t tell from the description if one was included. I also appreciate the product warranty. Very easy to install & now my Wii is up & running on my smart TV.

I’ve tried a few of these types of “converters” over the years with not much success but this one works perfectly. Picture is very clear and smooth and audio works perfectly and sounds great. I’ve used ones in the past that needed an hdmi, a usb to power it and a 3.5 to run for audio and they don’t come close to this one which only needs an hdmi out to your tv and it’s plug and play. Highly recommend this one for your Wii to a newer generation tv.

We got this so that we could use our old Wii game after we had to replace our old TV last summer (2024). The old TV had RGB connectors, but new TVs do not have them anymore. This converter is truly plug and play. We just plugged this into the Wii, and then connected it to the new TV with an HDMI cable. Everything has been working seamlessly for six months now. There have been no problems with the picture or sound quality; it looks and sounds just as good as the original RGB connections did. My kids play the Wii every single day and have not experienced any problems relating to this converter. Highly recommend.

Lo probé con mi Wii conectada a un monitor de 32" 1080P y no mostraba imagen para nada.No fue que me di cuenta que la Wii aun estaba configurada en 480i porque la usaba en una televisión CRT hace años, así que la conecte a un monitor que si tenia opción 480i, le cambie a HDTV 480p en la configuración de la consola, lo apague, volví a conectarlo a la de 32", y ya funciona de maravilla.

My Son had a Wii when he was younger and loved it, but eventually lost interest as he got older. Now that he is grown and married, he longs for the nostalgia (and the possibility of playing it with his own children at some point).So we found a refurb Wii as a presen for them, but neither our HDTV, nor his, support composite video or S-Video inputs, just HDMI. This product does the trick nicely. Not only is it inexpensive, but it is simply plug-and-play--no adjustments or settings necessary for excellent picture and sound quality.image quality is excellent given the SD (progressive) video input, and the upscaling looks great. No it doesn't (nor could the Wii ever) look HD, but it doesn't look at all like badly upscaled SD--it simply looks like a bigger SD picture, without the softness/blurriness or pixelation jaggies common to poor upscaling. I'm not sure it could be any better...

als je je wii weer wilt herontdekken maar de oude kabels niet meer in jouw vernieuwde TV passen is dit de perfecte oplossing. Erg gemakkelijk installeerbaar
