As advertised. Works fine to transfer water from rain barrels or other small tanks. Mine is a little noisy if you are in a confined space, I'd using hearing protection. Could benefit from adding a power switch for convenience instead of having to unplug it to pause or stop. Overall, does what you would expect of it.

I was going to use this pump to move the water for my cold plunge, but it is way too powerful for that application. I did try it out, hooking everything up, priming the pump, and firing up the system. The water was ripping too quickly through the system and the pump was so loud I just could not keep it running and still enjoy the cold plunge experience. I ended up using a much smaller pump, though I am keeping this one as I am always getting myself into projects and know I can find a use for it. It is powerful enough for most around the house projects so it will come in handy. The fact that it uses regular hose sizes makes it easy to hook up and use.

This pump worked as it was spec'd in my case. 4 each 55 gallon drums of fluid transfer from a truck bed into a ground mounted tank. I went right from one drum to the next without shutting the pump off as they emptied. It primed itself and picked right back up pumping. My only minor negative which was not worth taking a star for was the suction hose. It was rolled tight and kinked, which reduces the flow rate. I used a 1/4” fiberglass rod inserted in the hose to straighten it out to reach the bottom of the drum. Worked like a charm.Flushed with water after use and now back in the box and storage and ready for next need.

On our mini ranch, there's always tons of work to do. I never know, day to day, what will be my priority projects for the day, but many days, the projects involve moving water. I've been considering options for a small pump for a long time, I'm so glad to finally have this pump to help me.The first thing I needed to do was to clean out the water that had accumulated inside some tires that were stacked up outside. If you've ever had to do a similar job, you know that it's basically impossible to get the water out of a tire. There's just no way that it can be dumped out or bounced out.Enter the TDRSUPER Portable Water Transfer Pump! It was easy to set up as it only involves screwing on a hose (provided), and plugging it in. Actually, this is where my only complaint comes in. As soon as you plug it in, it'll start screaming at you. It's loud! There is no on/off switch. that's irritating, at least until I realized that all I needed to do was to use a power strip cord with on/off switches. Once I got past that, this little baby's screaming became focused on pumping water and it did a fantastic job, very quickly.Hold on tight and be prepared because it's going to be powerfully shooting water out of the end of the hose in a matter of about a second or two. After that initial test (which left dry tires, ready to trade in), I tried the pump to help me to bottle some home made fish pond muck fertilizer. Unfortunately, it was a bit too powerful for the way I was using it, and in the space of about 3 seconds, it filled a gallon jug and shot the excess upwards into my face. Joy, Joy.I don't think I can blame this cute little thing for being TOO good, so, I'll just leave it at 5 stars.I'll know in the future that there's not likely to be any jobs around here that are too big for my cute lil pump.I hope this helps you in some little way, and I hope something Great happens for you today!

Mostly, I will use this little pump to help with winterizing my camping trailer and for emergencies. While trying to winterize my camper this past fall, the water pump quit working with five gallons of RV antifreeze in the fresh water tank. I used the pump to remove the antifreeze from the tank and then used a gravity hand pump to winterize it. I was unsure about whether to use the pump to push the antifreeze through the water system for fear it might use too much force. The pump was easy to use but does not have an off/on switch and with the outlet located around the corner really needed one!

Our washing machine broke and I decided to try this out tonight to drain out the water. Plugged it in, and… POP!!!Something arced inside and let out the "magic smoke" the very first time I gave it power. So maybe they never tested this before shipping it out? It wasn't wet or anything, just straight up went "poof" with a bad electrical smell as soon as I plugged it in. Looks like a whole trace off the circuit board ended up getting used as a fuse instead. On the bright side, it came with a nice little hose, which I used to manually SIPHON out the washing machine instead 🤣 This seems like it could have been a handy little kit if they hadn't left so much up to luck.
