This was exactly what I needed. The stake is very stout and did not flex when I used a mallet to pound it into the ground. The alligator clip is strong enough that I'm confident that it will not come loose on its own.

Bought this to ground generator which I hope to never need but don’t line the idea of operating generator without especially with ground being wet causing shock hazard. Description states its copper but it appears to be copper coated over stainless

Claims it is a copper grounding rod. It’s only copper plated very misleading.

It is a short rod that worked good for what we need it for, The ground is rocky and a full sized rod just wouldn’t work too great !

I have used this product on two different generators and found it to be quite simple to use! It’s made of sturdy material, easy to install, is a great value for the price and I love it.
