Instructions for Use:

1. Place the thermometer into the pool, and it will float on water's surface.

2. The built-in solar battery charges by sunlight, ensuring continuous power supply.

3. Press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

4. To conserve power, hold the °C/°F button for 3 seconds to turn the digital pool thermometer on/off.

The thermometer was working but within a 6 week time, water somehow got inside the windows and now we can’t read it even if it did work. We were away for a bit, returning home after our window to send thermometer back. Not sure what to do now! Very disappointed!

This is really good quality and so easy to check my pool temp with the digital display. It solar powered so no need for batteries. Love this!

The thermometer works, but it reads about 2 Degrees F too high. There's no way my water temperature is 88 Degrees. No big deal though; you can do the math in your head. Just subtract two degrees from whatever it reads. Also remember that this is really a surface temperature thermometer, so the water temperature will be cooler down further in the water.

I use this to monitor the temp of my pool water. It works well through solar however the display is too small to read from afar and it faces only one side. I have to replace the roap it comes with as it's not really waterproof.

Had gotten a cute one a couple of months ago but it had a standard thermometer in it but broke. This digital is much easier to read and seems sturdier.

The ease of use makes this a great buy. Just toss it in the poss and sunshine powers it…forever, we hope. Two things: The number could be a bigger. It’s hard to read unless you're close. And remember, the temp it’s taking is 6-8 inches below the surface, not 4-5 feet down, where it will be decidedly colder.

We have a raccoon in our yard who kept taking out and destroying the template detectors we were purchasing - most likely because we were buying ones with a crab, shark, etc on top. So far this one has not interested the raccoon and we actually prefer it because we can see the temp on top instead of having to take it out of the pool. Works great for us!
