Used this device for 5 months and then it went into an endless cycle of self rebooting. Spent 4 hours with a technician from my VOIP service provider trying to troubleshoot. Tried everything from network tweaks to restoring factory resets etc. to no avail. Only to find that neither Amazon nor Plexus Telecom will stand by this thing beyond a mere 30 day guarantee. So if you are tempted by the pricing, think of what it might cost you if the device doesn't work after just 30 days. My IT vendor and the VOIP technician both warned me about Polycom. Will replace with Yealink following their advice, but will use another vendor a channel in order to ensure a proper warranty.

Fast delivery at good price. The Polycom Soundstation IP6000 microphone pickup is awesome and works to all corners of conference room, even when not talking toward the phone.

Audio quality excellent. One MAJOR draw back that is not addressed in the manual is the inability to dial numbers longer than 10 digits from a dial tone status. I needed to dial 9-1-area code-number and it stops and errors out after 10 digits. The only way I can do so is keying the number then present the dial button (like the old cell phone number). The executive I set this phone up for is NOT happy with that limitation. If polycom can provide me the solution to that I would go 5 stars. We've have another Polycom voip phone which works perfectly fine.

The warranty information provided is not true! We bought the product and 4 months later it stopped working. Its supposed to have a 1 year warranty. Polycom says you have to go through the reseller. The Amazon returns Center doesn't work for this product after 30 days. I've opened a ticket with Polycom and they closed it without responding, I reopened the ticket and they replied back letting me know its on Amazon. Amazon let me know its on the MFG. The reseller has no contact information and just points you back to warranty repair. So I have a broken phone and nobody willing to honor the warranty.

Bought this to connect o Vonage. We have 5 other Vonage phones in our office. Spend over 6 hours!! with Vonage tech support during three different sessions. Their conclusion is that the phone is a dud. In other words they ran out of ideas on how to make this phone work. Tried to connect on three different networks (including home). For a premium device this is very bad. Will be returning the device

I work as a telecom Administrator for a very large IP based system. We purchased 20 of the IP6000 back in 2012. We have had 6 go completely belly up right at the 3 year time frame. One day they just do not boot up. They are the absolute worst device that Polycom makes for reliability or longevity. When it does work they are a great sounding phone. Their other IP 650, IP 450, or other Soundpoint SIP devices are very reliable.Unless you plan on spending $500 every 3yrs or less then then I would stay clear of these devices and go with a better model. I do have to say that their old Soundstation Analog conference phones have terrific reliability. I can never remember one going bad.

This is functioning in our conference room and has definitely enhanced our ability to hear when we're logged into our on-line classes or conference calls.
