We use these as “air conditioning” in the feral rehab colony’s catio. Placed in protective covers, they are quite resistant to claws. They hold a “chill” for several hours once frozen solid. Perfect size to tuck into condos, too.Unfortunately, two in this order were ruptured along the seam upon delivery. The box was slightly damp & sticky on the inside. Most of the gel had solidified in the box, although the two paks were still leaking. Will definitely reorder. They make hazy, hot, & humid days more “komfetable for kitties”.

The ice packs work great and lasts for most of the day! Keeps my lunch cold.

Upon receiving I paced 4 packs in the freezer and left the other 5 in the box. A month later I was going to use the other packs and found 2 were leaking, 1 is missing and its past the time to return.

I’ve gotten these in the past and loved them. They stay cold a really long time (Have hot flashes and take them to bed. Stay cool 8-9 hours). The outside layer on this batch doesn’t seem as well made. It peels and tears. So I’m disappointed in this particular box of them.

they freeze but dont hold cold as well as the plastic packages of brix and the STICK to my freezer or anything in it! I had to pry 3 off with a frickin crow bar then started using parcment bt them. lotta maintenance for some cold packs.

Stay cool a long time although weirdly it seems like the smaller ones might stay cool slightly longer. .maybe its the flocked cover... Both styles are sooo much better than dumb store ones...the big ones partially frozen would be GREAT for the body or neck with the length and soft cover..as well as nice to not have to use so many in a cooler.. My husband has loooong 16+hr days and the lunchbag ( we prefer the coleman soft an coolers to a reg bag..sturdier and roomier)..doesnt always get indoors..this brand is actually still cool and sometimes partially frozen when he gets home unlike store ones which are totally warm at end of day.. We us the 18can cooler ( kinda big but fits containers better and has a sturdy shoulder strap) And I use 1 large and 2-3 of the smaller ones..its been mid 80s + ..when august I'll see if i need to add more..they do get heavy but no way around that.. Also when you stack em in freezer they expand more than you think so don't stack too high lol..

So much better and so much less expensive than the ice packs sold for home/lunchbox use! The cloth-like cover doesn't get slick with condensation and it's much less likely to burst or leak than the kind with the plastic cover. And, they're thick, so they stay cold forever; in a use case where the Wal-Mart cooler ice packs are always completely melted and slightly warm at the end of the day, these are still cold and still have a chunk of frozen gel in the middle. And you get so many of them! They're the best. Thanks, Polar Tech, for making these available to average consumers.

I really like these. They don't leak easily. It takes A LOT of weight sitting on these to make them leak. The only time we have had one actually leak was after someone accidentally sat on it. That person weighed over 200 pounds. These really do hold up well. They keep things good and cold. They stay good and frozen for 6 to 8 hours.
