Love these, foam filled, brick style ice packs. They hold their shape really well in the cooler.

I bought these ice packs to use in a collapsible, zippered, lunchbox cooler bag. Each of these measures 7.5" x 5.5" x 1.75". Just two of them will fit in the bag with the food and beverage I want to keep cold. I was hoping they would last for a long distance train journey (i.e., 36 hours). In a test where I loaded the bag with three pre-chilled drinks and two pre-frozen ice packs, they kept the temperature below 50F for about 20 hours. Furthermore, they quickly warmed up such that my drinks ended up cool but not cold. I just wasn't impressed. For the money I'd just buy the Blue Ice gel packs, which don't last quite as long overall, but do keep things quite cold for at least 6 - 8 hours.

These things are awesome! Much more durable than the regular gel type and hold the cold much much longer.

These stay frozen way longer than ice or gel packs. My son is tube fed and I bought these to keep his formula cool in the Florida heat. I froze a couple and ran out of room in the garage freezer so took then out, and noticed they were still cold 3 days later in the 100+ degree heat. Now we use them for camping, beach trips, car trips, whatever. They last way longer than ice without the mess.

Great freezer packs. Work like magic and keeps cooler for hours together, at least for 10 hrs. I just Love them.
