Tons of Parachute Game Options
There are many games you can play with a parachute. The followings are some examples: Popcorn - Place a number of beanbags, small balls, or cottonballs onto the parachute. Shake to make them pop up like "popcorn". Making Waves - Children can make small, medium, or large movements to make various types of "waves" around the parachute. Merry-Go-Round - Children turn their bodies sideways and hold the chute with one hand. They then walk around in a circle, making a "Merry-Go-Round." For variety, children can hop, skip, jump, etc. Switch - Call out a birthday month, age or a pre-assigned color and have children swap places under the parachute before it falls. Mushroom - Standing, lift the parachute waist height. Count to three - with "one" and "two" being small practice lifts. On three, all lift the chute overhead, and crouch down pulling the parachute edges down as well. This creates what looks like a "mushroom."

Purchased this product for my group of dementia patients for OT. It was a sure hit. Large enough for a group of 12. I placed a ball and also used a balloon to add a little fun. Add some music and it was a great activity. Colors of a carnival added a cognitive piece to reminiscence about their memories, and naming objects thr same color as on the parachute. Awesome.

The possibilities of fun to be had with this parachute are endless!!! There are some suggestions in the photographs; however, you'll find that your children will no doubt have many ideas of their own :)I bought it to keep my Son and his friends occupied now that the warmer weather is finally upon us. It's a great size, which is perfect for several kids to be able to play together. It's very hardwearing and durable, and the colours are bright and vivid.Essentially, it's a great way of combining play, exercise and fresh air! Really happy with my purchase, thank you.

My kids love this parachute. They have taken it outside, on the trampoline, the grass, inside and it has held up really well so far. Very sturdy and it comes with a convenient carrying bag and is easy for me to put away in the bag.
