looking for lightweight clothing for an upcoming african safari. looks like the picture. nice lightweight material. came vacuumed sealed and was pretty wrinkly when I took it out of the package. like very very wrinkly. I didn't try to iron or anything because I decided to return it but I think it's going to be difficult to get those wrinkles out because they are quite deep. I marked down 1 star simply because the fit wasn't quite right. It was just slightly smaller than true to size and because it pulled around the buttons a little (let's be clear, nothing was popping out and the button holes weren't stretching), the pockets hung down under the hem of the shirt...while empty. so I would assume if you put something in a pocket, it would really hang down and not look cute.I did order a larger size so maybe that will fix the problem but we'll see.

Love the pockets. Love that it’s lightweight. Fabric is soft. Doesn’t take up much space in the suitcase. It does wrinkle, but you can toss it in the dryer with a damp towel or iron it if yours that motivated (I hate ironing!) Sweat dries quickly. Love that you can roll the arms up. It runs a little looser, which is fine. I Don’t want tight clothes sticking to my chubadubdub. I wore it when we did a zip line hike in Guatemala. Highly recommend.

This is the second "style" of button down I have and I like it a lot. Zipped side pockets make a good feature. It wears like a light jacket for me. I like to layer these sun blocking shirts over a tshirt or tank top and this is perfect for that.

I love the look and fit of this shirt, but the wrinkles won't come out. It comes out of the wash wrinkled, out of the cool dryer wrinkled, and I can't even steam iron the wrinkles out. I'm not a neat-freak and usually wear unironed but fresh from the dryer shirts, but this one...it's just horrible. I'm taking it on a trip anyway--figuring I won't run into anyone I know so who cares if I'm wearing a dreadfully wrinkled shirt. If it weren't so wrinkly I'd buy a couple more.

I ordered this shirt in the khaki, and the white, to go with some travel pants I’m taking on a trip. I wanted a material that was light and silky, but also a shirt with pockets that could hold Kleenex, lip balm etc. This shirt checked off all the boxes. I’m very pleased. It fits nicely, and can be worn long sleeve or short. It even has a place to hang my sunglasses! Nice.

Updated September 2024: As much as I like these shirts because the SPF 50 and pockets that work perfectly for my purposes, I'm moderately irked that yet another of these shirts has arrived permanently wrinkled, though folded inside vacuum wrap. The chaotic creases are epic, and remain, no matter what anti-wrinkle product I try, and despite steaming and whichever of several washing/drying methods I've tried. The major creases that are way beyond wrinkles, persist. Some others I have ordered over the past few years came and remained less or mostly unwrinkled. One shirt smoothed out after hoy-cycle drying, but that only worked that once. So this is now a 1-star review, just to provide a warning to others - I wear these anyway, creased and wrinkly because of the pockets and SPF 50 material - I just pretend it's a new style (lol). But buyers need to know about this permanent creases likelihood, I've come to feel. It could be a deal-breaker or a challenge.

Been going camping a lot more with friends and have been entirely jealous of their "camp shirts". So finally decided I needed to get one before heading to Jekyll Island, GA, while still at the edge of "these mosquitoes are going to carry us OFF the island" season. It was PERFECT and has been perfect for every trip since! I'm usually an XL and I prefer things to not be fitted or clingy in any way so I was really worried this shirt would be one of those that are made for only those with tiny shoulders and waists like so many other shirts marketed for women. I'm not a small person and I usually prefer men's shirts because they just have more room but this shirt was exactly right for my frame. It was big enough to layer as well as comfortably button and wear by itself without being tight in the chest area (or belly!!). I love the fabric which was great for cooler nights and warmer days - very breathable. Lots of pockets but not so much that you look like you have a cargo vest on so again, points for style AND function!Going to get at least one more for longer trips because this can get funky after a couple of nights by the campfire!!(photo doesn't show the real length but I'm 5'6" and it hits me comfortably at mid hip and just does cover the backside without looking like an oversized shirt.)

I bought this shirt for a trip to Hawaii. Having been there many times before I knew that even with sunscreen if you are out & about you can still get toasted. I'm trusting that the SPF factor is as advertised. It's hard to know for sure since I had sunscreen on, but I can say that putting this on after an hour or so of just using sunscreen, I did not get any sunburns. It's comfortable but having long-sleeved anything on in tropic sunshine & humidity is going to get a bit warm including this shirt. Better than a burn, though. The style is casual. It went well with "athleisure" wear like sports capris, tee shirts, and tank tops. It didn't go well with a sleeveless casual sundress. Sizing: I bought a small based on other reviews that said the shirts run large. I agree with this. I normally wear a medium and the small in this shirt fit me well.
