The part arrived as quickly as it said they would deliver. It was easy to install. My only issue is that it is a little difficult to open - Seems to stick a little bit.

This door did not fit the camera. The plastic door was just slightly too large and would not close accurately.

LAME! This battery cover is a lame waste of money. It doesn't quite fit right and may be the reason the battery door will not open! I have to use a butter knife to pry the door open. I stupidly lost the OG battery cover because I have always used a battery grip... always. But now my shoulders are jacked up and I can no longer handle the weight of my cameras with battery grips, hence wanting to reinsert the battery door. Well as it stands right now, I may be forced to use grip because once the battery is inserted, I can no longer remove it or replace it without having to locate something to pry the door open when I need to change the battery. So yeah, this is useless, poorly made junk.***UPDATE***. As frustrated as I am about this door not working, I updated my review and rating because the customer service has been top notch! They reached out to me immediately after my review and we have been going back and forth trying to figure out the problem. They have offered a refund or replacement. I am opting for the refund as I am not convinced a replacement would have different results. But we’ll see. If I opt to replace the door and it works, I will update my review accordingly. But I greatly appreciate great customer service!

Bought this for my Canon Mark II because I lost mine after years of using the battery expansion pack. This fits my camera well and does the job.

Ordered for a used 5D MK II that came with no battery door because the previous owner had always used the camera with a battery grip. This replacement snapped right in and works perfectly. No issues. I would recommend this product to anyone in similar circumstances.

Works exactly like the one I had when I initially bought my camera. If you're like me you probably lost this original piece as well. Ordered this and it fit right in, no problems whatsoever. Kind of more expensive than I would expect but easily worth it.

The item fit my EOS 5D Mark II perfectly, and was easy to clip into place. It isn't as refined as a Canon product, and should not be stamped 'Canon,' but is certainly fits and has no issues opening or closing.I got this because I purchased a used camera on eBay along with the battery grip. When I took the grip off, I realized I could not use it safely (or at all without the interlock engaged) without a battery door. So this low cost solution was a big save-- thanks!

This thing does not work at all, the protruding part which is supposed to press a connection in the battery compartment when closed does not work, hence even though you close the door the camera will not turn on. Moreover, it has very low quality construction. The pin that attaches the door to the camera does not have a spring. The unlocking mechanism is also very clumsy.
