About this item

  • 1. The light control switch is controlled by premium chips, with stable and quality.
  • 2. The power supply part has diode , filter capacitor, anti-interference capacitor and 7805 voltage regulator chip, which can provide stable voltage and prevent the module from burning out because of the power supply reverse polarity.
  • 3. With a precision adjustable potentiometer to better adjust the sensitivity and delay time.
  • 4. Power indicator and relay pull-in indicator. The module comes with a 50cm long photoresistor sensor.
  • 5. The module is equipped with a high-power relay to control the load up to 10A current. The delay time can be adjusted to solve the flashing problem of the relay at the critical point of the light.

Specification:

Supply Voltage (Optional): 5V 12V 24V

Static Current: 12mA 15mA 12mA

Power Consumption: 72mA 45mA 28mA

Application:

The potentiometer can adjust the detection brightness threshold, when the light is darker than the brightness adjusted by the potentiometer, the relay switch is automatically turned on, can be used as light detection alarm, light control delay switch, brightness detection switch, can control various street lights (automatically turn on at night, automatically turn off during the day), auto headlights, stage lighting, LED lighting and traffic light detection switch

Only provides a transition delay in one direction, and the maximum delay I could dial in on mine was around 15 seconds.Ideally it should be more like minutes. If using for a security light at night you'll want to wire it for normally closed and use the jumper to reverse operation. That way lightning, car headlights or flashlights won't immediately kick it off.
