I ordered this silver anodized phone stand to replace the acrylic stand I had been using on my desk. That acrylic one didn’t have an adjustable angle nor did it have a lower cable cutout large enough to be useful. This metal one does.The stand packs flat, and folds out to form a seat like the famous wood Belize Chairs - very nice. Additionally, I don’t know if it’s the angle or if its the material, but my phone’s cellular signal is easily a bar or two higher when perched on this stand. That’s definitely a plus!Recommended with five stars, great design!

Most phone case come with a kickstand but they don’t hold the phone so that you can just look at it. Meaning you have give your phone your undivided attention when using the kickstand. This phone holder lets you set up your phone so that you can be hands free at work and still see what is showing on your phone. It works for meetings when you are out in the field and can’t set up your computer and don’t feel like holding your phon. It also works when you are sitting in front of three monitors, processing a lot of data and someone needs you to answer a question on a “quick” video call.

The first design problem is that it is too narrow to hold a tablet with any stability. The second issue is that with a slightly heavier tablet (like an iPad), it collapses under the weight.The fix is pretty easy. Change the description and title to remove all mention of tablets, then I think people's expectations will be met.
