In a clinical trial, two-week-old infants fed with a Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle bottle experienced less colic than babies fed with a conventional bottle, with the greatest difference seen at night. The Newborn Nipple has a single hole, so newborns can learn to eat with the slowest flow Philips Avent offers. The nipple is made of flavorless, odorless silicone that resists discoloring and stickiness. The nipple's soft, rounded shape promotes feeding for babies who nurse from both the breast and a bottle. The Anti-colic baby bottle BPA Free nipples are dishwasher safe and can be sterilized by boiling for five minutes or by using a Philips Avent steam sterilizer.

Love Avent glass bottles and nipples. I was not away however, that these did not fit the glass bottles. I bought them bc they are anticolic. They are a good nipple and I sort of made them work, but needed to purchase the plastic bottles for anti-colic for them to fit properly.

We foster infants, including preemies and NAS babies who sometimes need extra support eating. Avent bottles help avoid swallowing air. I use newborn nipples for all age infants as sucking is a basic need and it helps controls flow for infants with that need.

These nipples are hard to dind in stores. Great brand though. Although I got these from another seller on amazon and they had more plastic wrap packaging. I dont know if these were outdated or what. But otherwise great product. My baby is 3 months old but she still going to use these because fast flow is too much. These do wear out after a couple months. But recommend to buy them on amazon.

Perfect nipples for a newborn. They do their job well, are durable, and are easy to clean. They fit my Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles perfectly.I've used multiple brands with my first daughter and Avent was our favored brand for so many things, especially in the feeding and pacifier categories.

I used these to replace the nipples on bottles I had. As long as you dont put them in the dish washer and rinse them after use, they wont discolor. Awesome product, I do recommend.

These Avent nipples are our good-to brand for our baby girl. The silicone nipples are nice & soft, yet sturdy quality. The slow flow works great, our (now) 2 month old baby has been using these since she was a week old. Some people mention leaking, please note these come with an anti-colic vent (little dent on edge of the nipple) which must face upward when holding the bottle to feed baby, it’s designed to release the air so baby doesn’t suffer gas pains. If the vent faces down, it will cause leaking. We love the product & have a total of 12 of these nipples!

Absolutely a life saver, my baby went up in bottle size but we didn't notice the new bottles had the #2 nipples she was choking and throwing up, they leaked out of her mouth because the flow was too fast and I looked for these nipples which were on the small Avent bottles, night and day difference, Happy baby, no spit ups or leaks! So glad I found them here, they are very difficult to find anywhere else!!

They are easy to clean, and easy to use. I never had a problem with any leaking. The babies love the nipple size as well. They are completely dishwasher safe and clean really well in ours. They are also very durable.Also it was easy to transition them from the breast to these bottles.I ended up buying more in different sizes as well!
