The perfect balance between great bright light and longevity. You can buy cheaper but you can’t buy better. If you have a problem with these or expected miracles I would check your headlight lenses. Probably cloudy and should be polished. (Check online how to do it and buy your own sandpaper, etc and avoid “kits.” Then seal with something like chemical guys stuff for headlights.) or even better buy new housings then seal them. You’d be surprised how cheap some of these headlight assemblies are. It all depends on how popular your vehicle is of course. Also check into how you replace them. Some vehicles it’s a serious pain. As in the bumper has to come off. Don’t bother unless it’s seriously cloudy and/or cracked. Headlight lenses today are a wear item. The days of glass are gone. Today they are plastic and crack degrade in the harsh sun.

Really improved my field of view while driving, not necessarily brighter than factories, just cleaner light, good spread

I purchased these because I wanted brighter casting low beams for my 2018 Honda civic Ex-L. They are definitely brighter, hard for me to put a "percentage" brighter than OEM but noticeable nonetheless. Can't speak to their longevity as I've only had for a few weeks now but that should be expected of brighter bulbs as they burn hotter and harder on the bulb materials.

I used these bulbs to replace burnt out ones in my Subaru Forester. It has been about 2 months and they have worked great. After watching a few videos the process was quite easy. I have read some reviews they said they burn out quickly, but have also read that if you install them without wearing disposable gloves you might get oil from your skin on them and this can cause an early burn out. I am quite pleased with the brightness as well.

The reason these bulbs are brighter is that they run hotter and fail more quickly relative to standard headlights. Good luck locating warranty information on the package or website. I did manage to register the purchase on the Philips website. BTW, the company is actually Lumileds now with Philips owning a 20% stake. Filing a warranty claim, they did give me a one-time replacement which is decent. But, I'll never buy these again. The company could be more transparent about their product warranty info.

Both headlights were working on my 2014 Honda Odyssey, but I had never replaced them. I was having a hard time seeing at night so I thought they were probably going dim. Replaced with these headlights and noticed a huge improvement. Longevity is still TBD, but I'm happy I can now see better.

These seem good at first, but they burn out after just a few months. Philips only warranties these for three months for a reason. Even if they burn out during the warranty period Philips does not respond when contacted. The problem is they don't change anything on these bulbs, other than make them burn brighter, which means they burn hotter, which means they burn out faster. Stick with the basic bulbs or you'll be buying new ones soon. The basic at least come with a 12 month warranty. (But again the warranty is useless since Philips does not respond.)Brightness-wise, they are not appreciably brighter than the stock bulbs. Slightly brighter at best. Certainly not worth the huge reduction in longevity.Paid 38 dollars and would not recommend.
