We use these little half beads to simulate eyes on my husband's rock snakehead paintings. They are ideal. Sometimes he will carve out the back of the plastic like beads to better contour them to fit the curve of the rock. The beads are used to GREAT effect.

Who knew that flat-back pearls were A Thing (not me). I recently painted a starry-night-themed beach scene at a local paint & sip place. It turned out really cute but I wanted to embellish it a bit before hanging on the wall. I grabbed some sand and small shells for the beach part and used spray adhesive and glue to apply. The swirly (starry-night) parts in the sky were still missing something and a friend suggested that pearls would be cute. I went looking for craft pearls and these popped up on the search. FANTASTIC! Cheap, lots of size variety, and the flat-back made them very easy to glue to the canvas. I am so pleased at the final product! These are great quality and inexpensive.

I uses these pearls to make a Ariel costume this past Halloween. They are a gorgeous cream color with a flat back allowing for easy attachment to fabric and also her seashell crown. I was also able to multi-layer them to add depth. They worked well with both hot glue and ez 6000. They remained in place through daycare and trunk or treat and trick or treating. AND there were plenty left over for any future projects.

I used these to make my Dia de los Muertos costume and they worked exactly as described. They come packaged really well so there's zero chance of them spilling before you get them. This was my first time using anything like this so I was a little worried, but it turns out there was no reason to be. The smaller "pearls" do have a lot of static cling which can get annoying when trying to work with them, but since I don't know if that's common to all of these small plastic beads or just this particular brand, I'm not going to deduct a star.I ordered two colors, white, and beige. When they're still in the package, and in large numbers, you can see there's a slight color difference, but when they're mixed together, like on my jacket, it was all but impossible to tell the two colors apart. Also, they're a little slippery when trying to hold them with tweezers, but I imagine all small, round, plastic pieces are difficult to pick up.Overall, I think they're a good value and they worked well for my application
