Cheap chain doesn’t hold up well to a 6.5 hp predator engine. Have to replace often.

I'm helping my grandson completely rebuild a go kart frame he was given by a neighbor. We're working on the power-train now and decided to get rid of the old rusty chain that had been on the old chassis. This #40 chain turned out to be a lot heavier duty than the previous one, but we were able to remove the correct link and shorten it down to size with the tool we bought on Amazon.I have a pretty good amount of extra chain left over if he ever needs to replace it or build something else. I was very happy that the two connecting links came with the chain, as we used one of them on his ATV chain which got broken this summer. Note that this chain, being HD (heavy duty) has a slightly wider diameter than a non-HD #40 chain. In our case, we had a fairly tight clearance between the backside of the CVT (torque-converter) clutch system pulley, the driver sprocket feeding the live-axle, and the back mounting plate of the CVT. It fit, but there's not much wiggle room. I just wanted to let others know that these chains ARE slightly wider if that's a concern in your application.The chain is a great value and I rate it 5-stars! Thanks for reading.

Used for mower conditioner reel chain. Worked till it snapped after 2hrs of use. I was monitoring, checking tension for the break in period. Seemed like a loosely formed chain. The rollers were noticably too short they did not cover fully side to side like most chains do. Just seemed junkie. Yes the link sides were thick but still snapped. Probably fine for light duty stuff but not really heavy duty.

Rollers are loose and chain was to wide to fit properly not good, don't waste your time.
