Between days 15 and 30, you will be monitoring your pet's progress. After you are satisfied your pet's training is complete, remove every other Boundary Flag every 4 days until all flags are removed. In about a month, your lawn will be free of training flags and your pet will know his limits. We recommend keeping a flag or two in your yard to let neighbors and passerby know that your pet is securely contained.

I bought this fence, skeptical. But we love it. The ranges that you can choose from is great. Super easy to setup. The beeping is loud enough that it alerts my dogs they are getting close, the vibration is strong enough to get them to stop and go back. We have not had the shock affect on, no need the beeping and vibration work great! I have 2 full size dogs on yhe same fence and they LOVE running !!!

The flags I got have sturdy rods which are like aluminum or may be galvanized steel. I am hoping they will not rust. The flags are slightly short compared to what my fence company gave, but seem to be fine for the dogs to see.Remember - these are only flags for dogs to see their limits. This is not a fence. You have to install a fence. I have a "dog watch system" fence and these are simply replacement flags for what your fence company gave you. If your dogs goes out, if your neighbor's dog jumps on you... all those reviews are for the fence company. Flags are just flags and these are good quality flags.

The flags are a nice visual when used with the wireless collar systems. She went with me as I placed all the flags with the collar in my hand. Once done, I put the collar on her, put her on leash and we walked the perimeter. It only took one day and a reminder on day two that as she approaches the flags she will hear the beeps and then be shocked. One day I was taking her for a walk just on leash (not the collar) and as we approached the white flags down the driveway she just stopped and did not want to go further (Very unusual for her as she loves going for walks). I had to coax her but she had her eye on that white flag the whole time. Now she has acclimated that it is ok to go past it on-leash, but when she has the collar on, she eyeballs those flags and keeps her distance! It allows greater freedom for her to run but less worry for me when I am working from home.

Needed to train our new puppy to the invisible fence, and flags are an important part of that training. These are the same flags that come with the system. This was a good amount of flags for our yard. Historically I'd hold onto the old flags, but it's not like we get new dogs very frequently, so now I'll just buy a new pack of these 10 years from now when we get the next dog.

These are good metal stakes with the flags. I have a new dog and need to train her - these are very affordable and good quality.

One set of these came with metal "poles" the other came with plastic "poles". The plastic ones got brittle after sitting in the sun for a few months. They still worked well enough to get through training my dog.

I was debating between like and love. The flags aren't overly durable and I had a couple crack off trying to put them into the ground. But, for the low price I paid I shouldn't expect them to be indestructible. They're a good height and, again, such a good price. If many more crack off, I'll just buy another 50.I would prefer if the flags were more visible... maybe yellow or orange. And I'd definitely pay extra for a glow in the dark version.

I love these flags! I trained my sweet 3 year old full blooded lab and best friend with these. I had moved out to a neighborhood where the houses were few and far between, and across from my house was a small lot that went straight down, like a cliff. I didn't want my dog to wander over there and possibly fall, so I used these with the Petsafe wireless unit. It only took about a week and going past the barrier one time and he was completely trained. Unfortunately, my best friend passed away a few months ago. That being said, I went to a shelter and rescued my second best friend. I will be training her this weekend because I will have more time to spend with her and I am sure she will do well also. The flags are very noticeable and stay in the ground well, I would definitely recommend these to everyone!

When we first installed our electric fence we went to Lowe's looking for these flags and only found orange construction/farming flags with thin metal wire as the post. They worked awesome! Yes, our yard looked funny lined in orange flags but it worked. When we got our new puppy we decided to give these a try for a more visually appealing look. They work great but the posts are plastic. I was installing these in the summer after a solid week of no rain...it wasn't fun. I could not put them exactly where I wanted because some parts of the ground were too hard and these would snap. I ended up dumping a little bit of water on the super dry areas, but when you are setting up flags every 10 feet around 1.5 acres, that isn't so fun. All in all, they work. But when we had the metal stakes we actually pulled them out to mow. Forget it with these. We just mow around them because they probably won't survive a second install. Now that they are in, we have no issues. I just figure that I paid 3x the price for these flags, I wish they were more durable. Next time I will just go back to the neon orange.
