I got this for my cat to use outdoors, where I walk my cat (like a dog) on clear days. The hat has an adjustable chin strap that will secure it to the cat’s head. The ear openings do work and lets the cat’s ears fit through. The only issue, is my cat doesn’t like wearing something on his head, so he wants to knock it off with his paws. This is not an issue with the product, just something to be aware of. It will take a while for your cat to become adjusted and be willing to wear it and not try to take it off. Remember, the cat doesn’t really understand the function or purpose of the hat, it just feels unnatural and they don’t like it at first.
