The Velcro on this is subpar. It’s shot on mine now. After about 10 uses it no longer holds at the slightest tug from my puppy at 6 months old. Almost to the point that it falls off at contact. Super disappointedBuckles would be much better.

As a delivery driver, you need to watch out for dangerous dogs or even one’s roaming the neighborhood like even coyotes. Definitely a lifesaver and leg saver. Sometimes I just put it over my arm for easy access. If I get attacked, I can let go and run while the animal chew up this sleeve. I did not have any issues with the Velcro coming off. Mine was nice and strong.

I have a 10 mo. old Malinois she is very powerful. She rip the sleeve right off my leg first time. The sleeve needs buckles instead of velcro. I would only get this for a small puppy.

I purchased this leg sleeve for an intermediate leg targeting dog. After three uses the stitching holding on the Velcro started to come apart and by the 5th use was no longer useable. The jute material in thickness itself was fantastic. However the stitching for the Velcro was a complete failure.

I was surprised at the durability and ease of use with this. I usually buy all my bite equipment from a major brand company. So to say this stands up to them is a proof of workmanship and knowledge of the tool. I have used this on my police k9's as well as my sport dogs. I would estimate 75 bites so far and going strong
