I have to concur with the other reviewers . . . every time I pull a wire off the cap or plug, the wire inside the boot comes apart. The rubber insulator, which is where it's crimped, breaks and the metal connector is left on the plug or cap. You have to restrip the wire and recrimp every time.

I went to relace my cables and 2 of the 9 cables pulled apart. I quit moving them after unplugging 4 and 2 came apart. One separated at the distributor plug, the other came apart at the plug end. Do yourself a favor. If you need spark plug cables buy the raw cables, ends and a crimper and make your own.

Cheap crap. The boots don't even cover the copper connections on the lead or the top of the coil or spark plugs at the same time.

Wires were advertised as custom sized for Ford 8 cyl. Seem to be excessively long but of good quality

My truck has a 351 Windsor and just doesn't run all that well. A carb rebuild helped, but a new carb would probably really help. The ignition work I did helped a lot.I did ignition work in 3 phases - replaced points with electronic module; replaced coil; replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. The least noticeable change was with the coil, but I expect that's about right because the old coil functioned, this one just makes a longer, stronger arc. Replacing the points with the Ignitor II removed the quite scabby looking points from the system. Replacing plugs, wires, rotor and cap removed several lousy connection points in the circuit, evidenced by how one wire left behind its connector on the cap, for instance.I tried plug gap of .044 (which is factory spec) .055" and .065 and it was clear the larger the gap the better the truck runs and I only tried the larger gaps with this higher voltage coil.
