If you have a maxima of the correct year please don’t be deterred by the bad reviews from other maxima owners, the intake fits and it does some wonders for the engine but it just doesn’t fit the same as in an Altima. The only difference is you can only use the short resonator pipe, the long one will not fit and honestly you might get better air flow with the short pipe alone. And as you can see in the picture we substituted the mount on the long resonator pipe by just mounting a basic bracket onto the top screw of the mass flow adaptor that comes with the kit (our bracket required us to bend it a little but it works and holds sturdy), those are basically the only differences

Says it fits the maxima but Will not fit the 2003 maxima.

I ordered cause its advertised as it fitting an 03 maxima. All the hardware COULD fit.. the problem is the way it's routed. Altimas and maxima bodies are different. On my Max, that whole left side the battery takes up room and even if you wanted to move it you would have to cut the body just to get the intake where it's supposed to be routed.For anyone wanting to buy for Altimas I can say that the material used feels of quality. Everything was fine when it arrived and seems like it would be straight forward to put together... for the right car.
