The metal handle also acts as a reservoir and lets you monitor the cutting fluid level. An automatic oil dispensing system keeps the wheel lubricated every time you cut. The narrow head is designed for pattern glass cutting.
This cutter fits conveniently in your pouch for use around the shop or in the field.
Wheel angle is 140°.
Always use with cutting oil.

I'm pretty adamant about trying to find products that aren't made in China. This came with a toyo blade (made in japan), which is one of the best glass cutters around. I don't see anywhere on the actual tool that says where its made, but after looking around online some I do believe its made in USA.This tool works great, and is pretty inexpensive compared to a lot of other glass cutters.

I was trying to cut some picture frame glass and finally had to give up. I couldn't get a decent cut on any try, nor could I get a good cut on any of the leftover failed attempts. I ordered this one, which has a quality cutter and a reservoir for cutting oil. I did some practice cuts on the failed attempts and every single one of my practice tries came out perfectly. The difference between the old Walmart one and this one you could tell the second you made your score. The old one sounded like inconsistent coarse scratching, while this one has that smooth even sound of actually cutting into something. Breaking the score was as simple as bumping the glass with your finger and it broke cleanly. The to feels substantial in your hand and not chintzy. The machines cap is nice and screws in solidly. It is very easy to use and feels like a real tool instead of an imitation of one. I can't wait to break more glass things in the house now!

We've used it a few times now. I really like it. It's not a real "Fancy" one, but it works very well for me. Some other comments I've seen talks about it leaking. Mine hasn't yet. I recommend it. It's worth the money. Get a bottle of oil to go with it.

When I opened the package to cut a piece of glass the cutting wheel was missing. I guess I should have checked the tool when I received it instead of waiting until I tried to use it.

I've been working with this glass cutter for the past 9 months and it works great! I don't use the oil reservoir because I use it for cutting small pieces for jewelry. It has a nice weight to it, not light and flimsy. Still makes perfect cuts and is not dulled. I will buy this product again!
