It arrived with some minor scratches. It is also mossing one of the footholds on the left side. Otherwise i am exciting about the boat. It's prettier than in the photos.

I've wanted a kayak for sometime now and have hesitated. There are so many options (some not so fashionable as others) and some that are just not, well me. So finally I decided to just "pull the trigger" and I searched for and found the kayak that fit my every need.My needs checklist included...- Makes me look like I know what I'm doing.- Has a dry storage that can actually hold things. (This girl is a serious over packer!)- Has a large enough area in the rear for my Yeti and all the seriously needed provisions for a float in the water.- Fits my booty comfortably.- Matches my colorful, careful, free spirited personality. And my bathing suits!

The kayak is beautiful and has a great seat/backrest. Large storage area and well. It has built in handles so they won’t break (previous kayaks the handles would slide right out the side of it, couldn’t even glue/foam them back in). It does sit up a tad bit higher than my others, so be sure to control movement and pay attention when going over shoals, etc. I want to brag on the delivery service: I didn’t even know Amazon could deliver big items like this. XPO Logistics were AMAZING! Confirmed delivery date and times day before and day of. They unloaded the product, put it wherever I asked, let me inspect it. They were so kind! Came in perfect condition. Very happy!

I feel lucky to have been able to secure a kayak in the current environment. I checked in with a local dealer about availability and they had nothing and no idea when something might come in. When I mentioned Amazon had one in stock, they said "buy it now". So, I ordered it. Delivery was about a week later than originally promised. It went from Greenville, SC to Charlotte, NC to Ohio (?) back to Morrisville, NC (which is much closer to Charlotte than anything in Ohio) and then transferred to the last leg carrier, who took their time. The delivery day kept changing. After planning to be available for delivery on the scheduled day, they came a day early and dropped it off without notice. No signing, no inspection. However, it was well packaged and completely undamaged. If there had been damage, this could have created some issues.As for the kayak itself, I've very happy with it. The seat is comfortable and the footrests work well. I'm 6'0" and I fit well in the kayak. The footrests are in the next to last position and I may move them up a notch as I decide what position I prefer. The interior stays bone dry. The elastic cord that keeps the seatback upright or down broke early on but Perception was quick to ship me a replacement.I don't hesitate to recommend this kayak or Perception kayaks in general. If you're taller than 6'1" or so, you might want to look for a longer version.

I was debating between this and the Pescador 12. I'm glad I got the 10, as it is light enough for me to load onto a roof rack by myself. The only complaint I have with portability is that the side carry handles aren't in the right place. If you hold it by the handle, there's more weight on the back end than the front. Not a major problem, but it makes carrying it by yourself harder than it should be. My only other complaint is that the rod holders are really bad. They are too big, so I am afraid to use them for fear of my rods falling out. For a kayak called "Pescador", that is surprising.As far as tracking and speed go, this thing is great. It seems like a good balance between general purpose recreation and fishing. It is stable enough for me to turn around and access a milk crate in the back without risk of tipping. While there is no dry storage directly in front of the seat, I have been able to (carefully) access the dry storage in the bow when necessary.Lastly, I have found zero need for scupper plugs. Fully loaded my kayak carries about 200 lbs, and it is a very dry ride. This thing is great, and I would gladly buy it again.

This sit-on-Top Kayak is perfect for all skill levels. Its a touch over 10 feet and stable, quick, sporting a design for tracking, and the finish on top has a slight grain to it, increasing the traction. The dapper color is epic! Have taken it out 3 times now, twice on the inlet and once on calm ocean. All three times the Pescador handled nicely. Dont forget to get plugs for the drains if you go on cold water. You will need 6, they usually come in 4 packs. Can't go wrong with this one. The entire Perception and Wilderness lines are dependable kayaks. I have the Wilderness 14 foot Tsunami sit -in Kayak, which I adore. This Pescador sit-on-top is a totally different experience.
