Penn-Plax's 14 day fish shaped feeding blocks come in 2 blocks per package, 2 packages for a total of 4 blocks. Each food block releases high quality tubifex, bloodworms, daphnia, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: Simply place the 14-Day Feeding Block in your aquarium. Within hours it will start to dissolve, releasing nutritious freeze-dried foods, while also neutralizing your aquarium water. One 14-Day Feeding Block will be sufficient for 10-15 gallon aquarium tanks and will last 10-14 days depending on the pH level and water temperature. A minimum water temperature of 72°F (22° C) and pH level of 6.6 to 7.0 will be advantageous for the most efficient release of food particles. Highly alkaline water will slow down their release. Proper water circulation through means of an air stone or filter is required for Feeding Blocks to dissolve normally.

INGREDIENTS: Calcium Sulfate, Freeze-Dried Tubifex Worm, Freeze-Dried Bloodworm, Freeze-Dried Daphnia, Shrimp Meal, Corn Flour, Vitamin B-1, Vitamin B-2, and Vitamin B-6.

I have ordered these/used on two different occasions. They do not dissolve as advertised therefore they do not feed the fish. I have lost numerous fish over each two-week period when using the product. I will not use this product again.

I've used this on two occasions and my fish are still alive. Once for a 3 day trip and another on a 4 day. Left a little residue on the fish tank rocks but eventually dissolved. So far so good!

I had high hopes for this product but it clouded the water and left residue in the bottom of the tank. Will not use again.

Worked like a champ. We had 2 weeks out of country, plus an extra night due to a cancelled flight, and the fish were alive and healthy with days more food left on these.

We use these every time we go away and our fish hasn't died. We have a Goldfish that my son loves and I used to be nervous to go away until the first time I used one of these and our fish lived. I have used this product about 8 times and our fish is still happy and healthy. Well worth the cost and no trouble to remove upon your return from vacation.

I usually couple one of these with an automatic feeder in a 10-gallon tank with 2 smallish goldfish. I use both to ensure if one fails, the fish can still receive nutrients from the other. I have not come home from a trip to find starved fish yet, so I guess they work well.I can't comment on the flavor of these as I have not personally tried them. What I can say is that if you use thes, you should probably change the water in the tank as they do produce extra matter.
