My primary camera case. Has been dropped, banged around and withstood a lot of abuse. The trek system makes it easily customizable, but harder to reconfigure later.

I travel for work most of the year and because I'm a nerd I wanted to bring a full fledged gaming pc with me. I found that the DAN A4-H2O fits perfectly in this case. I did find a local shop to make me custom foam inserts, but i was using the pick & pluck for about a year before I spent the money on the custom inserts. It does a great job of keeping everything protected, even when I'm forced to check my bag. Which sometimes happens, and every time I'm forced to watch the bag handlers play rugby with this suitcase.I even found a local foam shop to make me custom inserts, which makes me feel even better, and it fits all my devices much better than the stock foam. If you are regularly traveling with this case spend the money to get custom inserts. The pick and pluck foam did a great job, don't get me wrong, but the custom foam is a huge improvement. If you're in a decent sized city there'll be a shop that can do it. Plus they'll have the experience to know what types of foam to use, and the correct tools to cut it correctly. There are also plenty of online shops, but I wanted to verify everything fit correctly. For the average person, if you travel with sensitive items or stuff you want serious protection for, this is the case for you.I do recommend looking up guides on how to replace with wheels with roller skate wheels. It's well documented and not difficult to do. You might want to find a roller skate shop to install the bearings, but you could just as easily replace them at home. The stock wheels are....adequate. Mine started to rattle fairly quickly and I've read that I could have warrantied them, but my previous suitcase was a travelpro with skate wheels. The conversion was about $20, and I have enough leftover parts to replace the bearings for the rest of my life. Also, the feel of the skate wheels is a huge improvement over the stock hard plastic wheels.

i carry 2 cameras with lens, lights, batteries, and various other stuff as I travel a lot with my gear. This thing is slick and much better than my Tamrac case which is falling apart. It does have some serious miles on it, but I decided to replace it with a product that will last a lifetime. I believe the Pelican will achieve that.

Case is great. Downside - twice at airports people were trying to walk away with it. Upside - hard to hide a bright orange case rolling off.

“Upgrading” from a Pelican Storm for lower weight. Still VERY well made and sturdy! Saving 12lbs on a carry on bag is clutch!

I’ve taken this case on countless flights and always managed to have it as my carry on baggage. Really solid and small enough that no one questions its weight

Great case from Pelican. Amazon had the best prices and I couldn’t be happier. I can fit all my gear and lenses in the case with room to spare. The case also doubles as a good carry-on bag too. It is durable and protective, and I will certainly be getting another one down the road.

There are periods of time when I travel every week and I need reliable luggage that won't let me down. I replaced a failing old carryon bag with this and I couldn't be happier. The quality of the plastic is supreme. You can tell by the look and feel of it that Pelican doesn't skimp on their materials. The suitcase overall has a simple, but very durable design. I opted for the empty case and bought a mesh divider peice from Amazon to complete it.I love the mechanics of the suitcase especially. The wheels have quality ball bearings and glide effortlessly. The handle is rugged and reinforced and is held by a very basic but relaible latch. My old bag's handle failed and cut my hand, so a durbale handle was very important for me.This case is garuanteed for life. It's expensive, but the saying is true: "Buy once, cry once," you'll be glad you did!

Perfect way to transport fragile equipment such as cameras and lenses. I love the Trekpak material used to form the individual storage compartments. It took a few minutes to figure out the best configuration for my gear, but once that was done it was very easy to cut and insert the dividers. The Pelican 1535 Air case has plenty of available storage. I was able to comfortably find space for three camera bodies, two 70-200mm lenses, one 14-24mm lens, and a 24-70mm lens. You really can't ask for more from a case that still fits into the overhead storage bin of a plane.
