Simple to use, they are ideal for enhancing details on furniture, picture frames, ornaments and other surfaces, including wood, plaster, cardboard, glass, metal, and even molded Gedeo resins. Made of very fine metal particles coated with a binder of wax and acrylic, the colors are intermixable to create a rich range of classical or contemporary finishes. Can be applied with a small brush or fingers (using gloves). Available in 7 metallic colors, in 30 ml wide mouth glass jars.

I haven't used gilding wax for many years - but used this on a project to give a copper tint to a fire hood (not in use obviously) - I think the result looks fantastic

I made this Matt clay plant pot and it didn’t work out as I thought. I bought this to rub on it and I like the effect so for now it has a reprieve from the bin. It was very easy to use

I figured the product would be great and it is. The seller is especially great. My order was wrapped VERY nicely like a gift and it came very fast. The Amazon system is definitely designed to discourage people from buying from sellers that don't ship with Amazon. Not only did the Amazon system decide my debit card wasn't acceptable (despite the information being absolutely correct and there definitely being enough funds) but then they decided my credit card was an ok substitute. I'm less and less a fan of Amazon as a marketplace. They aren't fair to sellers and decide it's ok to compete with these sellers in an unfair way. But then these sellers (especially this Painte Shoppe) are much better than Amazon. Very high quality business selling quality products. I've bought other gilding waxes from them and it's great wax. Goes far, applies well, looks beautiful, cures nicely. Only disappointment is in Amazon. But I can't blame these sellers for using Amazon. So much for the government breaking up monopolies.

I love LOVE this wax. I have a couple of the other colors. This is THE EASIEST I have found. The colors are true and it arrived earlier than expected. And the wax stayed usable, the same as when first arrived, months later. Exactly the same. I'd had problems with waxes becoming hardened after a few weeks of no use. Despite being properly sealed. Not this wax. This is the only wax I'm using.
