This paper cutter is razor sharp and the included size guide makes it very easy for me to line up the paper evenly when cutting. I also like the included magnetic guide as it helped me prevent the paper from curling up. :) I have always wanted to have my own paper cutter for card making and to cut down paper for business cards and illustration formats to frame. I'm so glad that the blade is sharp but also has a safety lock because I was very worried it would not have one and be an open blade. Thankfully, I was able to figure out how to use the blade lock by pushing down and to the side because there were no instructions on how to do so.Overall, if you're not afraid of no instructions or don't mind a heavier paper cutter, I recommend this as it's easy to use and very sharp!

This is a great paper cutter. I love the guide that comes with it. Heads-up, the guide is attached to the bottom of the cutter for shipping. It took me a minute to find it as there were not any instructions. It hold the paper down securely with the "wiper-like" arm. The blade is sharp and cuts neatly. I like this product and it appears to be high quality and should last for a long time.
